Daruma.
Great fud! Decor is fitting and quite traditionally Japanese. Server was very polite and discrete. A little too absent at times, but ok.
Enuf food here for all tastes. BYOB. Impressive overall.
Plenty of parking outside the front door. I will be back for more very soon!

BEST IN ENGLEWOOD.. Really love the sushi at daruma esp. dreams come true roll and englewood.. The fish is very fresh esp the salmon and uni.... I'll def go back for more...

from a hero to a zero. This USED to be the best in town..a hidden gem with sushi as fresh as can be ...they lost their two best sushi chefs who also did all the fish buying...the quality is terrible now..on a recent trip there, i was surprised how bad the quality had gotten..stay away..

What all the rave about?. this sushi and sashimi was comparable to whole foods sushi at 7pm, but double the price. friendly but not good service. waited 30mins for an over seasoned app. then another 40min for entree. it's byob, so if i were you i'd bring some 80 proof stuff to mask the cons of this place.

i like daruma!
their sushi and sashimi is very fresh and tasty. many restaurant sells sushi and sahsimi cheap
but the fish is not so fresh .
if you are a sushi eater, try them out.
one of the best japanese restaurant in new jersey.

Good food and service, great decor. I ate here before seeing a concert at Bergen Pac. The service was great, my drink never went more than half empty. The food was VERY good. I had Shrimp Shumai, Thai Chicken Wings, Filet Mignon Hibachi and Green Tea and Mochi for dessert. They have Bar, Table and Floor seating. Nice, casual and can be romantic. Food is a little on the pricey side, but not bad. I loved it.

before is not amazing because kelly. new year eve, i take dinner with my best friends. thats my first time come to this restaurant. this restaurant so romantis they have big screen tv so we can watch food channel, travelling n sport channel. when u eat they play the jazz music whaooo is like cafe or lauoge. they have nice sheet in tatami is like vvip class when you watch the tv. thats the last time i eat in daruma n never eat again in daruma until now. next time i must back to eat n watch my littel angel angelina..........

Simply Amazing. I had the best Japanese food at Daruma last night. The uni was so fresh and the mango/salmon roll was so good and refreshing. The server we had(i think her name was kelly) was super nice. I would recommend this place if you like good Japanese good.
