“fabulous stylists, excellent atmosphere, Dee is wonderful!”
“Between the blow-out of a lifetime to battle my SO's evil French cousin, Mike's famous evil cocktails, and the musings for my bad-boy brother, not to mention the perfect color & cut every time, this one is a keeper.”
“After spending 6 hours (albeit a relaxing 6 hours with good music and even some tasty cocktails) my hair was dried by his very charming assistant.”
“had a great cut , was given ATTENTION to my needs and no atitude customer focus, makes this a go back salon for me”
“The vibe in the salon is always friendly and chill and the cuts are nothing short of amazing.”

They've moved and they're still great!. Hairdressers from Aurbeautica; Dee, Jessica and Carol, now work at their hot new salon called 3. It's located in the East Village at 90 East Third Street, between 1st and 2nd avenues (closer to 1st). Call Dee at 646-385-6002. Let the great hair continue!

This is a GREAT new place off Broadway in the heart of Soho. Jessica Nash, the owner, is a talented stylist with many top-tier corporate , fashion, and beauty clients.
The other stylists are FAB - with a special mention to Dee who is a master when it comes to curly hair. Prior to Aurbeautica, I was going to Devachan with results that were anything BUT special. With the cuts that Dee gives me, I am told all the time how great my hair looks. And more importantly I think it looks fantastic. And I hear from a friend that his coloring work is great too.
If you need a great salon, with cutting edge style and technical expertise then look no further than Aurbeautica.

You won't find a better haircut for a better price in New York City! I've lived here for 5 years and will only let Dee cut my hair now.

After years of getting oddball, high maintenance haircuts in a cramped, messy Soho salon, I felt ready for a change and gave Aurbeautica a chance. I fell in love immediately with the space. It's upstairs from one of the busiest stretches of Broadway, but the salon is a quiet, spacious, airy loft with lots of natural light so you can actually SEE what's going on with your hair.
Dee, my stylist, listens to my wishes, offers great suggestions, and always achieves a versatile, sexy, natural style that looks great whether I blow-dry, air dry, or force it into some cockamamie 'do. His cuts are precise which on my longish, straight blond hair is really important. And the color! All I can say is that as a woman in my forties, I always pined for the sun-kissed, summery 12 year old hair of my youth, and he gave it back to me.
I don't walk out of Aurbeautica looking "done", I walk out looking FOXY! I think Dee would rather I be complimented for looking fantastic than for looking like I just got a haircut. It's all about the customer, not the stylists' ego. I've been going to Aurbeautica almost 2 years now, and I'm still a huge fan. My husband visits Dee too, and he works wonders on him as well. Check it out!

I LOVE my hair! I went from long platinum hair with pink and orange highlights to a short cut with my natural color all within an afternoon. Even after such a big change, my hair looks and feels much healthier and has won me so many compliments. I felt really comfortable in the salon, which helped me to make such a big change. Also, the team of stylists could not be more friendly; it is a true artist's space.
I highly recommend Aurbeautica!
Did this place close?!. I tried to make an appointment and the phone disc'ed?
The Search is Over!.
I moved to New York 2 years ago and have gone to countless salons in search of a great cut, a welcoming atmosphere and truly personalized service. I am THRILLED to say that the search is over because I found all three and MORE at Aurbeautica! Jessica was positively focused on what I had to say about my hair and even asked questions I had never thought of. From there, she crafted a fun yet easy-to-care-for style (my two main requirements).
I was also touched to learn that Jessica has also has a charity call Pretty Smart, which contributes a portion of their revenues one day a month to help fund an impoverished school in India. I've scheduled my next appointment for the next Pretty Smart day and looking forward to contributing to the cause!
Great New Stylist at SoHo Salon. I recently got my hair done at Aurbeautica Salon by Carol. Before she even shampooed me she sat me down and talked with me about what I wanted. I didn't really know, but she helped me through the process and made some great suggestions. I felt really comfortable and excited before she even made the first snip! She went to work and cut and colored my hair quickly, but with great care; She is obviously a real pro. When she styled my hair, she worked with my natural curl pattern, which most stylists ignore. I was thrilled with how I looked when Carol finished. I definitely recommend her and this great SoHo salon.
Saved my hair!!!!.
CAROL at Aurbeautica saved my hair!!!!
After having a BAD dye job and BAD hair cut , I went to see Carol. She not only got the color out without damaging it, she then did the most beautiful highlights and haircut!
I was so pleased with not only her skills, but also her fun, warm personality, that I want her to do my hair for my wedding!
Go To CAROL... she is the best!
Carol is the absolute best. She really, really understands hair and her clients. I've been going to her for about six months, and every time, she gives me a cut that I adore. I work a corporate job, so I want to look professional but not boring, and she strikes the perfect balance. Coworkers, friends, and random people on the street constantly ask who does my hair, and I happily point them to Carol. She's friendly, insightful, and fun (but down-to-earth), and she has the talent to back it up. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a personalized cut, to both professionals who need to look sharp and to those who just want to have fun. Just sit back and trust her, but don't be afraid to express your opinion, she'll actually listen! Oh, and her cuts grow out fabulously.
SoHo Oasis.... As a guy who's been to countless barber shops and even some of the higher end salons around town, Aurbeautica is like an oasis in the middle of NYC. The vibe in the salon is always friendly and chill and the cuts are nothing short of amazing. After 3+ years of going to Aurbeautica, Jessica Nash is the only person I allow to touch my hair. In every sense of the word, Jessica is a true artist. People stop me at parties and clubs and literally touch my hair asking me where I get it cut. As a performing musician, I can always rely on her incredible sense of style to deliver edgy cuts that are hip and modern and seem to just continually evolve as the days and weeks go on. I would highly recommend Aurbeautica to anyone, especially to guys who?ve grown increasingly frustrated with lackluster haircuts and are in search of a look that matches your personality and can help you to feel like a better version of your true self.
Best haircut EVERRR. I came into the salon ready to get my disagreeably wavy hair chopped off but had no idea what I wanted done. Carol assured me that she'd been doing hair for 25 years and after a few preliminary questions, began attacking my head with a razor. 20 minutes later I had an adorable scruffy pixie cut. Carol seemed as pleased with her work as I was, making it one of the most satisfying salon experiences I've had.
Carol: seriously a hair genius.
I am one of those folks who lives by the hair, dies by the hair. In ten years and five cities, I have never found a hairdresser with a talent like Carol's. If you have always wanted something (a color, a style, a vibe), she can create it for you. For me, she transformed both color and shape for a retro style with a modern, creative neckline that draws complements on the streets.
Carol's genius comes out best when you just sit back and let her visualize what will work for you. She's transformed four of my friends - two men, two women - with looks as diverse as their personalities. It's like listening to runway commentary. She'll draw on her experience, trends, history, art. One of my friends reminded her of a mix of Spring Awakening and pop art. Let me tell you, that's a hairstyle to remember. He's never looked so good.
Even better, she's a great bargain for a talent of her caliber and a fun conversationalist to boot. Do yourself a favor; let Carol rock your hair world.
