Ami was awesome!.
Two days ago, I went to Mingle and had Ami as a hair stylist. In a word: impressive!
I wanted a short bob which doesn't usually go well with a thick, wavy, head of filipino hair like mine. But I went for it anyways (I'm a risk taker like that sometimes), and absolutely love the way she cut it. No regrets!
Ami is a master at her craft. I love that my head is no longer a thick mop that needed pinning down. From the shampoo, to the cut, to the styling, and her sweet disposition throughout, Ami was a dream.

Salone Mingle, Sheila. I have had my hair colored and highlighted at Salon Mingle several times. I have worked with Sheila. She is so nice, and very conscientious. The staff is lovely..getting hair washed also includes a light massage..always nice. Sheila is geat with color and works with my hair colors in an understanding and also creative manner. Highly recommend!

BEST COLORIST IN NEW YORK. I have been seeing Dannielle to color my hair for the last ten years. I have followed her whereever she went. She is now and has been at Mingle Salon for the last five years and I have to say she still is my color guru! She has helped and continues to help me through my graying process! From Blond and now a Redhead for which I get compliments on all the time. No one believes that I am all GRAY! You should definitely go and see Dannielle. I always feel ten years younger when I see her. ENJOY!

Best Haircut and color environment ever!!!!!!!!.
I am so happy to have found not only the most friendly salon ever but to have found the best hairstylist ever and colorist ever .....Sheila you rock !
From taking her time to talk to you before starting listening to every detail or ideas I have she is just awesome .........
Now going to the massage those assistant do there thing wow a good 5 min massage after great green tea just Great very friendly down to earth environment extremely clean place, reception was awesome love her cut and style very pleasant gal.........I know exactly where to go when In NYC, wish there was a place like Mingle New York in L.A. @ Rodeo Drive But will be back at least once a month to see Sheila and the mingle team!

Bad customer service.
Firstly, you need to know this - there is nothing bad written about this salon. Why? Because they give you a 20% discount on your next visit when you write a good review on City Search and other review sites. This salon is not as great as everyone praises here.
I got a Brazilian Blowout via Living Social twice here. The first time was good. My hair was really nice after the treatment. The second time, not so good.
My hairstylist wanted to try another process, which is not BBO's original instruction. She was nice and experienced, so I trusted her and let her do whatever she wanted to do. However, it unfortunately turned out to be bad. My hair was frizzy again two days later.... It was totally different from my first BBO result.
So, I called and asked them to redo my hair, but they told me they needed to think about it. THINK ABOUT WHAT?? Your client here is not satisfied because of the experimentation that one of your employees wanted to try.
Their excuse was that BBO solution was expensive and I got the service with a discounted price, so obviously they would lose money. But, YOU signed up for Living Social and there is always a risk like this when you try to promote your business in this way.
Also, the receptionist on the weekdays is so rude. Who does she think she is?
I know about 10 people who have gone to this salon and only one of them went back there after her first visit. Their review discount system is clearly working.

love this salon!. I had my hair cut by Sheila and she did an amazing job! It was the best haircut I ever had and I plan on returning to Mingle every time! I would absolutely recommend Sheila to everyone.

Go see Stacia!.
Stacia has been cutting my hair for over a year, and I have never been as happy with haircuts as I've been since I started seeing her.
Not only did Stacia fixed a botched cut from my previous stylist, but she also gives me great tips and suggestions. I'm always happy with my hair when I walk out the door, and how well the cuts grow out.
In addition to being super friendly and sweet, she's always on time and extremely professional. The salon and other people who were there are also really nice, and it's always a relaxing and pampering experience.

Stacia at Mingle is AMAZING!. I had my hair cut and styled by Stacia Nicole at Salon Mingle, and I do not exaggerate when I say that I've never walked out of a salon happier. I went in with an idea of what I wanted, and Stacia listened to me and looked at my face shape and hair type with the eye of an artist. When she was finished, my hair looked amazing. Not only is she a fabulous stylist, but she's friendly, talkative, but not overly so, and fun, as well as professional. The atmosphere is high-end, hip, but relaxing, not intimidating like some other high-end salons I've been to. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else and would recommend Stacia to anyone looking for a cut, style, color, you name it.

best staff and great performance. I have been a client in the last couple of years and have been very satisfied with their services. They all care about the color, changing color, finding a new color, and they take a lot of time to find your new hair style if you want to try something new. My hairstylist is Sayuri and I am really happy about her professionalism. Other staff and stylists seem very professional and the customers seem very happy with them. Every time i go there, the place is full of smile and laugh of customers and staff. I truly enjoy going back there.
