In the interest of full disclosure I just recently got a new puppy and therefore have only been to City Veterinary care once. I was somewhat hesitant as a few of the reviews here have said the staff can be rude, but I found that to be as far from the truth as possible. The two females in front were extremely nice and insisted on holding my puppy so I could tell they really liked animals. This immediately put me at ease as being the owner of a new puppy is stressful enough as it is without having to worry about a bad experience at the vet. I didn't see Dr. Kaplan as he wasn't working on the day I went, but instead saw Dr. Sheehan who was as nice and as knowledgeable as you could possibly ask of a vet. Like I said, I only went once, but this place felt right from the start and I am very relieved to have found a place I am so comfortable with right from the start.

i had to find a new vet after giving city vet care many chances. dr. kaplan is too busy to take care of his clients and every time i find a vet i feel comfortable with, they leave in less than a year. each new doctor seems less caring and less experienced. the receptionists are rude and sloppy. i was given the wrong medication once, and twice they gave me cat food instead of my prescription dog food... no more.
