We had a great experience with NY International Shipping. We worked with Wayne, who was always prompt, professional and available for any and all questions we had along the way. We moved our stuff from New York to Australia, the movers were professional and efficient. The only problems we had was on the Australian end with a independant shipping company requesting an additional fee to deliver the goods to our door. When we contacted Wayne, he assured us he would take care of it and he did! Our stuff arrived a bit later than expected, but to no fault of this company. When it came it was all in great shape. Would recommend this company.
Worst Moving Company I can Imagine

This was by far the worst move I ever had to go through. I am an international professional (United Nations), who has enjoyed many smooth moves between countries already. I selected this company due to its positive online ratings. The interactions with NY International Shipping were positive up until the moment they had endorsed my cheque. As soon as NY International Shipping had received my money nothing worked any more. All contact stopped, nobody returned my calls and the movers didn't even show up on the agreed moving date. When I called to find out where the movers were (and finally managed to speak to somebody after many attemps) I was merely told that there had been a last minute change and that I should take the next day of work off too to wait for the movers. The person I talked to at NY International Shipping did not even present their excuses for the major inconvenience caused. At that point in time it was obviously too late to change moving company but I already saw further trouble coming. For weeks my boxes were not shipped since the company apparently noticed that they needed additional information from me 2 weeks after having picked up my boxes by which time I had already left my old job and the country; they contacted my old email address instead of using my new contact information in France, which I had provided to them and which they had obviously never entered into their system. I eventually received my shipment, though with many weeks of delay, in France. Considering their lack of organization all along they way, I considered this close to a miracle. Frankly, by then, I had already given up on my shipment and on the $2,500 I had paid. I should add that the way I was talked to each time I called the company once my money had been cashed in by them was the rudest I have been talked to in my 6 years in NYC. I am writing this a year after my experience with NY International Shipment since I received an email from them today asking me to rate them....a year later I have not forgotten this horrible move; and never will!!!

NY International is a company that prides itself with bad customer service, not answering emails on time even from boss David Mazafi. i tried calling from France several times long distance and was just kept on hold. I had to hung up because i was using a calling card.
There were several issues with my shipment. Cubic fee was higher than the estimate and from seing the below many clients have the same issue. I wish an audit would take place in this company as im shure that all clients complain about their cubic feet. they just want to make an extra buck and are dishonest thiefs.
eventually if i wanted to see my belongings i had to pay as they were holding my goods hostage. accounting never responded to emails about payment or volume questions and the rest of the staff was the same way.
i am happy this whole order is over and advise people to NEVER use them. they are unreliable, liars and do not belief in customer service!!

I don't tend to write reviews, but this company has done such a horrible job I have let others know to be AWARE!
Read the other 1 or 2 star ratings and you will see that they have a continuing theme. You get locked in by a good salesman who is nice, very responsive on the phone, but once you sign that contract all communication and service go out the window.
They give you very little information about your shipment, they are un responsive to emails, they respond to emails very unprofessionally, AND THEY LOST PART OF MY SHIPMENT. How the hell do you just LOSE a mattress?! And surprise surprise, they are taking a while to get back to me on this one as well.
STAY AWAY from this shipping company!!!
Great Service

I moved to the UK from NYC recently and used NY Int Shipping as recommended by a friend. All in all I was very pleased with the service. The only thing is that it took 8 weeks for door to door delivery, my house is in the south west of the UK, and I was promised no more than 6. But I was kept informed by a friendly staff all the time and definitely value for money.
