Great atmostphere and food. The food here is very fresh and tasty. I was there with a party of 8 and the waitress didn't even use a pad to take our order and got everything right! The atmostphere is very relaxing and the menu changes seasonally so they keep it interesting.

nice lunch tho a bit pricey. Came here during the wk on my day off for lunch and saw they had a $16 pre fixe lunch special which was - glass of wine, soup, entree, and coffee. We found this deal to be strange considering most places w/ pre fixe specials give u a larger choice for appetizer at least, not just soup. After looking at the menu, we found some of the appetizers to be too tempting so we each got the mango shrimp salad and split 1 pre fixe lunch special. Piggys I know. Unfortunately every entree had an additional $2-6 supplement which was annoying so we decided on the Chicken Sandwich.

Breakdown:

2 Mango shrimp salad - good, dressing was a little sweet but not bad ($9ea)

1 Butternut squash soup - nice big bowl, very tasty, highly recommend it

1 CHICKEN SANDWICH w/ zucchini, tomato, mozzarella, salad & french fries - actually pretty darn good for just a chicken sandwich

+ 1 ice tea = $46 inc. tip

our lunch was def. not cheap but I was happy w/ the food. Don't think I would rush back anytime soon but if I was in Astoria again, I would pop in.

ps: our waitress was very nice too.

excellent choice for restaurant. Excellent choice for a restaurant. Probably one of the best places for organization, service and decor. The food was well prepared and the experience is something you should not leave Astoria without trying.

Pros:

Service, Service, Service (The staff communicates w/ out you knowing from beginning to end)

Food was excellent

Excellent wine selection with staff that can make recommendations

Cons:

Expensive but well worth it

Great Brunch. We treated ourselves to a nice brunch last weekend. Loved the food, especially the tartes and the couliflower soup. Drinks were good but nothing special. A bit pricey ($50 for two) but great for a special occasion or when trying to impress someone.

Fridays & Sat Nights, whats with bartender.. Ok I have been there the last few weekends with my date or waiting for my date to meet me there, and the bartender there she does not give out buy backs ( Drinks on the house ) for all the $ I have spent there on food & Drinks. She seems to give them to only her friends which I noticed were like 2-3 drinks on the house to 1 paid, not sure if I / we had a red flag on our heads or something, some of the other bartenders I have seen there when I have gone buy during the week much friendlier & offer me a drink on the house like every 2 drinks and sometimes after 1 drink.

Food is ok 5 out of a 10, maybe 1 or 2 dishes 6/7 out of ten. It is romantic for going on dates, dark and ca ndles a plus.

Wonderful restuarant with a style all its own. This is what Astoria needed, a new fresh idea. It is the only french restaurant (with a spanish twist) around as far as I know. I have resided in Astoria my whole life and this place makes you feel good about where the neighborhood is going. Fine food, excellent service and a soothing and eclectic atmosphere. I highly recommend to anyone tired of the same old thing.

Terrible attempt at Trendy. Fries were frozen, the hangar steak tasted boiled and to top it all off, the Chardonnay was probably a week old and sweet as soda.

They put all their effort into the look of the place and not into their food.

Great Find!!. Have been here at least a hand full of times in just the one month that I have been living in Astoria- by far the best food and service in Queens! Their dishes are amazing- you can see the care and time they put into their presentation-5 star quality- you would never know you are not in Manhattan!
