LOTS OF FUN!!

This is one of the FEW places in Queens that you can actually spend an entire night at and not get bored. I was just there this past Saturday with my husband and some friends for the Pacquiao/Cotto boxing match and the vibe was awesome. The place was packed, there was so much energy and after the match was over, the DJ kept the energy alive by really kicking up the music. If you're used to the typical Queens bar, this place is not for you. It has more of a Manhattan feel without being pretentious.

SAY NO TO THE PLAY LOUNGE IN ELMHURST NY

I decided to celebrate my girlfreinds birthday at the Play Lounge. I thought it would be a great experience since I have been there once before and really enjoyed myself. We invited a couple of friends, but to my surprise every girl that was turned away looked like the stereotypical aggresive female even one that have been there several times before, they were given all types of excuses of why they were not allowed to enter the club from the wearing plain white shirts to their belt buckle(are you serious?). The spanish bouncer even lied and said that one of the girls that was allowed to come in cursed him out and was asked to leave which was a lie. If she cursed him out then why would he let her in. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life and what made it worse was the black bouncers was discriminating on their own. This has to stop. Please know that we are not stopping here, we're a reporting them to anyone that will listen, we are not bitter we know there are still ignorant people out there. I am going to make sure this never happens to anyone again.
