sad experience

I chose Suzzana because of the previous review. It sounded like I would be in good hands. I am not a picky person by nature. I NEVER send back my food, complain for no reason, make a fuss over anything. But after I got my wedding dress back from Susanna I CRIED. It is a very simple, clean-cut dress with two layers and they simply needed to be hemmed. Now one sticks out from another on one side. The work was so sloppy! The expensive silk was all bunched up in the stitch. There were even greasy finger stains on the dress. I don't have that much money. And this dress was probably the most expensive thing I have ever bought. I know I have made a mistake trusting someone to do a good job without knowing them. BUT it really was a very simple job. I never thought that this horror could be done. I have learned my lesson the hard way. Now I feel that it's my duty to warn people out there. Sorry, Susanna!

Best Seamstress/ Dress maker around!

Susanna is the best dress maker around. I would say she is definitely worth traveling to Hoboken from NYC. She completely restored a vintage wedding dress for me and did an amazing job. The dress was badly damaged and required a lot of very skilled work to repair rips around embroidery and delicate beading. I could not be happier with her work. I had called several dressmaker and bridal shops, but no one wanted to take on such a big job. The dress came out beautifully and I am so excited to wear it. It looks like a completely new dress. I should have taken before and after pictures!
