HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

I had an appointment with Glenn ELLIS and was waiting for her around hour.SHE NEVER APPEARED!and never picked up her phone! "SUPER PROFESSIONAL "....I'm SO disappointed and angry about it(( AND PEOPLE FROM the reception didn't know that she is not in the salon for 45 min,they didn't even checked her. JUST WASTING OF TIME!!

Ruben Colon, hair maestro!

When my husband and I met he had ho-hum hair. It was cut fairly short and was relatively shapeless. I loved him anyway!!! After we got married I started getting my hair cut by Ruben Colon at Sally Herschberger downtown. My hair looked so amazing that my husband decided to treat himself to a haircut with Ruben. Well....let me tell you, his entire look has been transformed by Ruben!!! His ho-hum hair has turned into this fabulous wavy sexy tousled style that suits him perfectly! He went from Joe Schmoo to Richard Gere! Strangers will stop him on the street to say "wow, you have fabulous hair!".This is the honest truth!!! It can be a little annoying to me when the stranger is young and pretty but I'm willing to suffer through it because he looks so darn good!!! Ruben really is an artist and I will never ever get my or my husband's hair cut by anyone else. Bravo Ruben!!!!

This morning I visited Dana Ionato for color at her new home. I was greeted at the front desk and then escorted to the proper area for service. The salon was moving and grooving with positive energy. Thank you Dana for great color once again!

Done with Ruben Colon!

This is a first time I have decided to review someone.

I have been going to Ruben Colon, who was recommended to me by a good friend, since almost a year now.

The haircuts he has given me in the past were OK, nothing that would provoke an ecstatic feeling in me but they were OK and it looked good.

One could wonder why did you keep on going?! Well being new to the area I was afraid of trying another hairdresser and frankly did not know where to start to look for a really good and talented one.

My last visit to Ruben Colon was last week. Despite the fact that it was my 4th appointment with him, he still misspelled my name and exchanged me for someone else. Honestly I do not this about the "politness wrapping" as long as the hairdresser cuts my hair well but in this occasion the whole package was purely miserable.

It has been a few months since we have seen eachtother and I have told him I wanted to let grow my hair a bit more and to give me a haircut to do so (aka blend in my long outgrown bangs and not to much of short layering on the back).

What does he do? Layers my hair and I end up with a 1980ies haircut which Ruben has resourcefully hiden behind a waved blowout.

I was shocked the next day after I have tried to manage my new haircut. The layering is awful, straight and heavy, and ends up at half-lenght of my hairlength.

I am upset and highly dissapointed that someone who charges 185 USD for a haircut can not manage to do a nice job.

an experience that should be more than once in a lifetime!!!

i've been coloring my hair for as long as i can remember and it's never looked as good as it has since i've started using Keith. He's so talented and creative. My hair looks and feels amazing. The color is rich and dark while it's so shiny and healthy.

As far as blow outs...I'm very picky. Keith told me to eeither use Qunitin or James. My 1st visit, I used Quintin....fantastic! I had red carpet hair!! the 2nd time I used James....beautiful!!!

Regardless my experiences in the salon have been fantastic. Everyone is nice and friendly.
