nice people who know their product and have everything. this new store is a big improvement over the old place and has so many options for food, snacks and toys and the 2 people i have always dealt with are extremely nice and know a lot about what they are selling.

Worst Experience/ Rudest Staff Ever - not worth all the great pet products!!!.
I had been shopping at this local Tribeca pet shop for several months... although they have an excellent assortment of high end pet supplies, food, accessories and CLOTHES, shopping there was a huge, huge mistake!! All of their products can be found at other nearby stores without the inflexible and bitchy manager.
One of the store staff encouraged me to buy this cute shirt for my puppy's 1st birthday that had a lot going on (beads, ribbons, buttons, googly eyes). My puppy wore it for the first time and 9 of the pieces fell off instantly. I gathered them up, along with the shirt and went back to the store the following week with my receipt. I was told that they have a strict "no return policy" and the manager gave me attitude and kept telling me that "her dog had never had a problem with that shirt" (which 1st of all has no relevance - and 2nd her dog is a 3 lb miniature yorkie that she doesn't put down for 2 seconds; of course the shirt is in tact).
Although I understand that some stores have strict no return policies, it wasn't that that bothered me- it was the completely rude attitude of the manager who told me I could "take the (dog) shirt to a tailor" to get it fixed. It really bothered me that the store was unwilling to do anything to help me! Even though they were still selling the shirt they refused to even exchange it, and are probably still pushing it on other customers.
More than anything, for someone who has given that store hundreds of dollars of business, I could not fathom being treated in such a rude and demeaning manner.
I highly recommend that all pet owners AVOID THIS STORE - it is simply not worth it!!!
