“The meal was much better than average, but the pea soup was great and the coffee was wonderful and the fruit tarts that we shared were spectacular.”
“has written two reviews; one on the Blue Dog, and one on the competing (and putrid) Antique Cafe (the only thing antique about it is the food) both reviews pan the former and praise the latter.”
“Fresh food that is delicious, very creative, healthy, and looks great , with lots of variety - and is very REASONABLY priced.”
“and I must say Blue Dog Cafe is the best place by far for my new healthy kick!”
“Nice friendly service, too.”
“very rude just told me; there's nothing wrong with the lunch and she will not refund my money or change my dish, the person behind me support my situation and both leave the tiny place with bad service and food.”
Worst place to be. Last week i went to buy coffee . and I heard one of the owner yelling and treading like piece of garbage to one of her employee , and I asked one of the stuff who was this evil women ,who was behaving like a dictator , and they told that her name was YANNA , SO PLEASE TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEE WITH RESPECT because this is AMERICA , NO RUSSIA , and because of this I will never come back to this awful place
Not Bad. My friend and I really enjoyed this place. I just got a regular burger but it was pretty good. I forgot what my friend had but I know he enjoyed it. The drinks are also pretty good so if your in the area definitely give it a try.
They got it going on............. came with my GF, to get some food and we got something way better in return. The drinks they make are the best, The smoothies. Amy, really loved the tango mango smoothie, I think that was what it was called (or something like that). But the food was great too, I ordered a reg. burger and it was full filling.
Great food and tea. The fun colorful overhang caught my eye as I was walking to an appointment. I popped in for a quick snack. The tuna sandwich was great and I got some blue dog house drink that was espresso chive and mocha. Very good. I would totally go here again next time I am in the area!
Great for your body!. With the new year coming, I've been watching what I eat and where I eat it... and I must say Blue Dog Cafe is the best place by far for my new healthy kick! Everything is delicious and the service is amazing!!!
Done with it!.
I've been a regular customer of Blue Dog for the past 3+ years and have watched it deteriorate from a charming, inviting cafe into a chaotic, unfriendly business run by rude (bordering on aggressive) employees. In an effort to avoid the chaos, I've started phoning-in orders for pick-up -- great idea in theory, however, upon arrival I usually find that my order hasn't been put into motion, much less written down, despite waiting beyond the 10-20 minutes instructed by the person who took the order. So, I am told to wait for the order, usually another 10 minutes. On top of that, I have never once been apologized to for this inconvenience.
This morning I popped-in for a cup of coffee and, despite being 2nd in-line, it took over 10 minutes because the owner literally pushed aside the woman serving me so that she could ring-up the customers behind me; twice, no-less! It was astonishing, especially because I could tell she knew exactly what she was doing. I actually had to warm my coffee in the microwave back at the office.
Who needs this type of hassle? My business is going elsewhere...
A Modest Proposal.. I?ve got to suggest that if you?re not comfortable with the English language, you review a restaurant in your native tongue- and in the case of the previous couple of alleged ?reviewers? possibly with crayon, nasty little moronic children that they seem to be. I?ve eaten frequently at the Blue Dog; it?s on my regular list. I?ve never round it to be anything but clean, reasonable and with delicious food. I?ve never seen ?roadents? though when it comes to the previous couple of ?reviewers? I SMELL A RODENT! And I can certainly see taking free coffee from a place right after you?ve supposedly seen one. I will continue to eat, happily, at the Blue Dog. And I leave the previous pair to continue to patronize whatever sewer it is that they crawled out of.
this place need to have a new managment.
I went there for a lunch they have sandwiches seating for hours on the counter; counter person do not help to customer explaining the system to order, I finally got my lunch, very expensive for what I got; the salad was old and the sandwich not fresh at all. I ask for the manager or the owner; a russian girl approach to me
very rude just told me; there's nothing wrong with the lunch and she will not refund my money or change my dish, the person behind me support my situation and both leave the tiny place with bad service and food.
I just report the New york Department of Health of New York City to pay a visit that cafe.
Great Deserts!. The meal was much better than average, but the pea soup was great and the coffee was wonderful and the fruit tarts that we shared were spectacular. Nice friendly service, too. Just a good place to eat. we'll be bac- as a matter of fact, I suspect that we'll be regulars.
