The Scene
Befitting the shop's tropical name, racks along the front and back walls are organized by color-- browns, pinks, reds, purples, blues, blacks and greens. Shoes stand on square stones below the hanging clothes, and the beauty rainbow continues behind the register as variations of Christiane Celle fragrances line the shelves. The stylishly dressed salespeople are cordial and helpful without being pushy.
The Goods
As international music from French to Spanish to English plays in the background, an equally diverse collection of clothes ensures that you won't see yourself coming and going. Studded and sequined handbags guarantee to spice up an already eclectic outfit as you model Hudson jeans, Simona Barbieri sweaters and Sophia Swire fur coats. A window ledge on the right displays fashionable purses, sandals and hats, and an adjacent shelf brims with folded tanks.
