In a downtown overrun with overpriced restaurants, this schoolhouse-themed pub decorated with maps and chalkboards (scan them for daily specials) is an affordable outpost for students and wallet-watching wage earners alike. Seriously, I think it is the best salad! Restaurant is very cool and relaxed. Seems like it would be fun for happy hour. Highly recommend it!

I finally got a chance to get back to Nolita House!! My freinds always call the shots. We enjoyed the food and and the bartender was cool. I missed the manager and his personal touch. I was not able to locate him and they said he hadn't worked there since forever. The menu has changed some but they still had my personal favorite, Mac and Cheese. They use like 6 different cheeses in it and bake. I first visited during the world cup and will continue to as long as they make macaroni and cheese. It looks as though I need to go for bluegrass brunch after hearing all about it. Chow for now.
