The Scene – Airy, clean, sophisticated and perfectly lit, the AvroKo-designed space is clever, but not overly showy. Note the few peek-through windows to the kitchen, soft leather banquettes, the "roll bar" glowing from within. A mix of fashionable expense accounters, young cocktailers and the occasional foodie make up the crowd. Service ranges widely, from overeager to absent. – – The Food – The paired-down menu shows a flare for Asian-New American fusion. Cocoa- and peanut-glazed spareribs are outstandingly tender, rescued from being too rich by a carrot-orange…

Came to Sapa on a very nice evening out. This Asian inspired French restaurant was abso;lutely delightful. Everyone who seemed to be working there was happy, all the clients were more than happy, and I was more than happy with the food and service. Definitely come here on a nice date, for a birthday, or just to relax and have some great food.
- Pros: love love love
Fantastic food!

This is definitely a special occasion spot, unless you don't mind a hefty bill, but rest assured that either way, it's well worth it. The great reviews certainly are there for a reason (and rightfully so). The dining room is always packed with fresh flowers; the smell is wonderful. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. As for the food, I suggest being brave and trying something you wouldn't normally eat. Sure, their steak frites is delicious. Even though I was VERY happy with my steak, after trying the different dishes from the girls at my table, I wish I had opted for something more unique. This was truly an awesome dining experience.
Check the glass before taking a sip!!!!

We went there for happy hour on Friday about two weeks ago. The front section was all taken even though it was only 5:45pm. We grabbed a seat at the roll bar while waiting for the rest of the party. We tried almost everything (food) on the menu and it all came out pretty good. Oysters were only a dollar a piece, and the potato knish with caviar & creme fraiche was delicious. The special cocktail of the night was Barcardi Sunrise, which was way too sweet for me so I ordered the special white wine for my second around. I am glad that I was sitting down when the drink came since the moment I raised the glass and saw it through the light from the roll bar, I saw TONS of lip marks on the glass rim - NOT JUST ONE.. but ALL AROUND!!!!!!! I couldn't find our waiter so we got the manager who happened to be nearby. He apologized and got me another glass, but without any offer or whatsoever. This is a very nice and elegant place and I expected them to be better on customer service. Honestly, I will go back since I do like this place a lot, but I would definitely be very cautious before putting anything near my mouth.
- Pros: Good Happy Hour
- Cons: Could be very noisy
