The Scene – The male gatekeeper--dressed in a fur coat with an animal face on each sleeve--may give some visitors pause, and others a primal charge. The fashion inside the club, co-owned by veteran promoter and Studio 54 doorman David Sarner, is a touch less excessive, leaning toward the Nicole Richie end of the spectrum. Party girls and guys mix it up along the room-length, caramel-color banquettes, with an island of seating running down the middle that makes for lots of face-to-face contact. Great fun if you get it

We were turned out from this place as a large group of girls w/ a table reservation. Last night we were fully comped in w/out waiting in line because we knew the bouncer. If that's the attitude you are prepared to accept, once you get in it's marvelous. The place is a little cramped but the music is FANTASTIC! and the dudes beating on drums adds some spice to those who want to dance it up. We dance all night and had a sweet time. Midnight is a good time to show - dress up and look important.

Coming from Los Angeles...

We have great clubs on the West Coast but we really enjoyed this club on our recent trip to NY. We found the service to be great and everyone very friendly. We met one of the owners and DJ nadav (outstanding brotha!) and heard some exceptionally good tunes. They allowed live musicians to play along with the DJ while roving the room. Nice touch!! (great job Onyx!). Very intimate club considering everyone is dancing their ass off! "Bottle table" prices are in line with most clubs (only hurts for a little while) but worth it. Sofisticated music, great vibe, beautiful peeps, can't go wrong here! Mind you though the club does have the cursed "velvet ropes" but we found that everyone at the door had good attitude. Be smart make a reservation.

Luxurious

The privacy that you attain while in this lounge is immesurable in comparison to other places. Lined with luxurious couches, dim "mood" lighting, and an overall sultry decor, Pink Elephant is a great place to bring yourself and your friends for a great V.I.P. like experience.

Great Saturday night

The place was awesome. We went this past saturday night and there were 7 guys and 4 girls and we got in - No problem. The reason was that we spoke properly to the bouncer and he seemed cool with it. The drinks were a little pricy but then in the meatpacking district everything is. The sound system and DJ are awesome. A lot of gorgeous people and definitely worth going if your in town for a bit.
