Not your typical Irish pub ("bua" means "victory" in Gaelic), this low-key, exposed brick bar captures the neighborhood with a polished, romantic appeal.
my favorite bar in nyc

Hands down my fav place to go for a drink in NYC. Cute boys, beautiful rustic bar and fun drinks. I met my boyfriend there 2 years ago and am still completely obsessed!
- Pros: relaxed and cool vibe
- Cons: none
Great Sangria Carafes
by mnbecker
Great little bar with cool atmosphere - not a lot of seating so we were lucky to get a table out front on the sidewalk. Bar is very busy and it is hard to get drinks so I would recommend table service. Our server was nice and attentive.
- Pros: Great Sangria Carafes
- Cons: Small, crowded
Lived up to expectation
by Manning23
Well after reading some good reviews on this bar and living only a few blocks away I had to try it out, and I've got to say it lived up to expectation. I've never met friendlier barstaff and that's always a good start. The atmosphere in there is really cool and I'm definately going back there and have already recommended it to a few friends. Prices are the same as anywhere else in the area.
- Pros: Restroom doors and the barstaff
- Cons: None
