Love it --great atmosphere!. >>>three of cups is a favorite. the dim red lighting inside adds a little edge to the edgy crowd- always friendly people rockin out to great metal, punk and classic rock music. lots of tattoos. lots of black-lots of verrry attractive people. tons of fun! cheap potent drinks and beers--bar tenders are awesome- i ordered shots and after taking them she refilled them with what was left over in the shaker- which was another round for us- no charge. stay for while or stay for a minute- this place is worth visiting for sure!!!!!!!!!!! <3
Great place for a group. I needed to arrange a dinner for 37 coworkers prior to seeing Stomp. Three of Cups was able to handle a group of this size well in the semi-private side area. Servers were extremely attentive to ensuring drinks were kept full, and that food was presented hot. The fixed group menu had an excellent variety and a reasonable price. The bruscetta was the best many had ever had. Also, the selection of beers and wines was great. Whether dinner for two or a group of 40, you'll be happy here. Everyone also appreciated it was informal, and getting dressed up wasn't necessary.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Rock DJs, acoustic performances, karaoke and comedy in lounge serving wine, beer and cocktails; food served from restaurant upstairs until 2am.

Rock out with your Cups out.... All I have to say is... THREE OF CUPS ROCK!!! Not only the music, not only the drinks, not only the constant flow of cool people, but also the great staff who works there. Most of them are artists and are cool to chill with... sometimes they're even funny. What's even greater is that you can get food from the fabulous restaurant upstairs served to you here, so you don't have to drag your drunk friends up the stairs if you're hungry.
Rock lives on the Lower East Side. Three of Cups is the ultimate rock bar in the East Village , every night of the week you can hear the best DJ's playing the greatest classics and new hits as well , Monday nights they have a crazy Karaoke party and you can always find members of the neighborhood's best up and coming bands hanging out there , if you love to party and rock out , Three of Cups is the place to be .
Rock 'n Roll in the East Village. Three of Cups Lounge has been my local bar for a number of years now. This is an unpretentious local spot that has different DJ's nightly who play kick ass rock 'n roll. The drinks are cheap, the bartenders are friendly and you can get GREAT FOOD from the restaurant upstairs.
