cup diner, cute place to eat. My husband and I went 4 dinner We were seated promptly when we entered The food was cheap for the area and better than most other diners I have gone to. The serving size was also huge... and we could not finish it all (I had a vegetarian omlet and my husband had a grat stake). The service was ok. I would come back again.

Average food, horribly abusive management. The last time we ordered we called at 8:30pm & ordered two pieces of pie, a piece of cake & a soda. At 9:30, when the food still hadn't arrived, we called to check to make sure it was on it's way-we were told it was and should be there momentarily. When it still hadn't arrived at 9:50 we called back to check on the status. A man answered the phone and he was shocked, saying that we "never placed the order" and that he was the only person answering the phone that night so he would KNOW if someone placed that order. We explained that we definitely placed the order, and called just 20 minutes prior to check on it. He started yelling, telling us that there was "NO WAY." It was ludicrous. He finally asked us if we wanted him to send us the pies or not, and I said yes, please. He refused to believe this was some mistake on their part, and acted as if he was doing us a favor by sending over the desserts. When I hung up, I was kind of shocked, I told my roommate what had happened and she decided that she no longer wanted her food. I called back, (someone else answered the phone) and I asked to speak to a manager. The angry man picked up the phone again and said he was the owner. He started shouting at me from the start this time. He said that we were playing games with him- that we had "just called back" and said thank you for sending the pies so quickly. He wouldn't let me speak, but I tried to explain that no, we hadn't received the desserts nor did we call to thank them just seconds before. He continued to scream at me for about ten minutes. We finally just hung up. I think this was possibly a case of either a forgotten order or maybe a mix up with the delivery? Who knows. I don't understand the reason that the "owner" of the restaurant would get so violently angry over a small mistake like this (that was CLEARLY their fault). It could have easily been solved with an apology and a promise to send our food right away.

Neat decor. I went here for breakfast/brunch recently. The decor is nice on the inside and despite reading all the bad reviews, we found the service to be acceptable. Our food came out quickly and it was good. I had the goat cheese and spinach omelet. It wasn't the best I've ever had but again this is no fine dining establishment. My guest had the pancakes and they were very good. I would go back here any time I was seeking a diner-type place to go eat.

went to the cup this saturday night. Me and my two girlfriends went to the cup on Saturday night. I was not impressed to much with the food but one of my girlfriends seems to have a small crush on the very nice blond guy who we think is either the owner or the manager. Rebecca is kind of shy and when I said that the food was not really that great, she said to me, but isn't he really cute? He is but the food does need to be better no matter how much she likes the guy.

THE CUP WAS EXCELLENT. First off, the food was really good. my order was taken quickly and my food came pretty fast. portions are huge. I have to say the the manager Joe ( upon who's name I asked ) was fantastic. He came over and asked me and my girlfriend how everything was and if we were satisfied with all. He was really genuine, not like some other fakes who act like they care. Joe approached quite a few tables and this was something customers really appreciate. The food was good and the service was superb. Five stars for the cup. As good as it gets as far as I am concerned.

Review:. CUP DINER is a great name, but they should consider calling it "MUG" because that's what your coffee will be served in.

Our waiter, a young guy who's name we think was Steve told us that they got rid of the large cups we used to love. The good news is they seem to have updated the menu and the staff, keeping the good and improving on some favorites. Hint: ORDER THE MAC & CHEESE!!

Service seems to have improved greatly, although the manager always looked as if he was about to panic when people came in. Actually he was funny to watch, and he seemed very friendly.

My friends and I have been going to Cup off-and-on for a few years now and aside from a few aloof kids who work at night, the staff is the best its been. The guy at the take out counter was friendly AND fast, a combination you don't find often. Our waiter, Steve (we think his name was Steve, the name on our check said Sabrina) kept our coffee filled and was attentive without being overbearing. Never had to wait for a beer either.

The food was well prepared and ono the table in a decent amount of time. Be sure to remind them that cole slaw is included with your burger though, or you're not likely to see it. We might spend more time at the bar too because its right near the train and close to work for a lot of us.

Overall, The Cup is a great place to go for lunch or dinner or after a movie or even for a couple of beers or drinks.

Recommended. And ask for the waiter named "Sabrina."

Is it turing into a lite bites???. I haven't been to cup in a while and they changed alot! It looks like lite bites in there(the signs and cooler display.) Where did this random snack cooler come from and why is it stocked with fruit cups? what happened to the fun staff? Where is the manager? Where is an Owner? Who's idea was the neon lights? I have to say the way cup was before 2 or 3 years ago it was great. I remember they were involved in the community with art and live music perfomances. Now they are just another place with an odd cooler full of fruitcups. I have to agree with people though, The service inexperienced, the food is wierd, and the place is dirty, REALLY DIRTY!!!!!!

down down down. This place has really gone down the tube. First of all, with the exception of a few servers that are actually adults, the staff is very young and inexperienced. Most of them don't care about the customers needs. They take and order and forget you. They seem to be more conserned about text mesaging on there cell phones. The only bartender that knows how to make a drink is the one that works on friday nights.

I was there during the week and ordered a Dry martini and it was made with triple sec. The bathrooms are filty also.I think the major problem is the lack of management. what a shame.
