Best Birthday Ever!!. I was looking for the perfect place to hold a low key/stress-free 25th birthday party and read amazing reviews about the SKINny. This place was incredible! I called a few weeks early to reserve the mezzanine area and last night (4/30) was greeted with a smile and great service. The SKINny is a "Classy Dive Bar" which is exactly what I love. The ambiance is very relaxed and it was packed by the end of the night. Having the mezzanine was a plus as it did get very crowded on the "skinny" floor level. More people showed up than I had anticipated and the bartenders accepted everyone in. This is the perfect place to have a birthday party. Although it looks small, you could fit a ton of people (may have had 30-40 people in the mezzanine and a ton more downstairs). The DJ was playing fun music with a few 90's throwbacks and the birthday girl/boy drinks free all night (Awesome bartenders). Definitely recommend this for any event!!! I think I found my new favorite spot! Will be back for sure :)…
Typical bully door guy on Saturday. This past Sat (3/6), I tried to get in around 3:30 AM to pick up my (very) tipsy friend who was from out of town and was to stay with me. Door guy said they were closing and weren't letting any people in. I tried to explain I just wanted to get my friend and he physically pushed me out the door. I tried to explain again (nicely) I'll just get my friend and leave and she's from out of town and he'd be responsible for anything that happened to her and he cursed me out and told me to "get the F out of his bar" and again pushed me. I took a pic with my phone of him and he wrestles me to get the phone out of my hand and finally ends up giving it back to me. And then some other little guy says "do you want me to take care of this 'n' word?" (I'm white for what it's worth) and I end up walking away. What a douche.…
Great Place to Party.
We reserved space here for my girlfriend's birthday, and we had a blast! Sean, the owner, checked in with us all night just to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The drinks were inexpensive but
the pours were generous, the music was great, and everyone there was having a great time.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is having a party or as a place to just drop by to have a good time.…

I a joint party with my friend last saturday, and we had a blast!!! The guy who was in charge kept makin sure we were good, the music was perfect , everybody was dancin and singin along. The prices
were I thought low and surprisingly good pours. You tend to stress when you plan these things, its nice when it works out and I thought worth givin you guysa shout back.

Awesome party!!!. I had my birthday here last saturday, and it was amazing! From the organizing with Sharon to the accomodating staff. We were in the mezzanine and Sean the Owner/bartender was So nice. The music was amazing and the doorman was even nice which never happens! I didnt even realize I got to drink for free cause it was my birthday and brought the party in. I really reccomend this place and will be coming back! Thanks guys…
