their price beat others movers by a big margin

We highly recommend this Moving Company ( NYC Fast Movers - based in NYC) to anyone. The great service began when we asked for someone to come down and give us a free quote. Talk about efficiency - same day Mike from NYC Fast Movers (who is nice, helpful and professional) came, gave us a very reasonable and firmed quote on the spot. By 'very reasonable' I mean their price beat others movers by a big margin, Even that they reduced their first quotes by about 20%!! So you would think we would get a raw deal at this price? Not at all. Both of us considered NYC Fast Movers as the best mover we had so far. Personally, I think big moving companies may charge more because they have an established brand and size, but also because of their size, in my view they are also less likely to provide the kind of personal service and quality control that smaller companies like Remarkable Movers can offer. It definitely showed in our move that NYC Fast Movers proved that they have these special qualities. It was a tough move. We needed to move from two locations (one ground floor and one fifth floor walk-up) to a fourth-floor walk-up. Apart from the usual household stuff, we also had to move a professional sound-proof room which literally weighs a ton. Four guys (including Mike who was the team leader that day) and one large truck turned up on time that freezing morning. Despite the stairs and the weight, they moved at lightning speed, handle everything with care and did it with a smile. We found all of them friendly, nice and professional to deal with all the way till the end. Totally trouble-free!! Nothing broken, nothing missing. The price is excellent. No nasty surprises. What more can you ask for? We will definitely use them again.

They properly packed up the valuable furniture.

Not only did the moving crew of New York Fast Movers show up a little early to get a head start on the move, they properly packed up the valuable furniture. Plus, the driver was able to back the truck in to my driveway--which is a very tight squeeze! This is what a moving company is all about! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

the employees were very professional and courteous

New York Movers completed a full house move for me last week. I have plenty of antiques and other valuables in the four-bedroom home. The employees arrived on time, were mannerly, and completed a walkthrough of the home before beginning. All items were inspected and previous damage was noted or brought to my attention before wrapping and loading. The blanket pads and shrink wrap provided the extra protection I desired for my things. I used two trucks and six men on a Sunday move. This was the first time a moving company has suggested this and I was grateful for the sound approach. Before unloading, the entire crew walked through the new home and asked where things were going to be located. This was also appreciated as everyone was now on the same page. I was completely satisfied with the move. Nothing was damaged and the employees were very professional and courteous

Good morning , May 12 2010 , I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know what a wonderful experience working with you and your movers has been! I received my belongings yesterday and despite a few problems I foresee, all went well! First, I want to compliment you on your tremendous help and patience throughout this stressful time for me. I was very unsure on how this process worked, as you know, I had very many questions and I just wanted to be as prepared as I could be. So to you I want to let you and your supervisors know, I appreciate all your consideration, knowledge and patience and I personally wish to THANK YOU again! As far as the two men who picked up my things in New York City, my hat's off to them. The younger guy was very quiet, but the other guy was very courteous on the phone calls, I was as flexible for him as I could be for the pick up time changes, and he was an absolute delight to work with. He explained the tickets, (colored labels) diligently worked to have my things loaded very quickly and I want to take the time to make sure that HE and his supervisor knew, as well, how grateful, thankful and appreciative I am of his patience with me and their care for my things. Yesterday, Mike delivered my belongings and what a quite gem! We helped him as much as we could. He was also a pleasure to work with and a wonderful handler of the 18 wheeler. He had to maneuver that thing into a tiny space for us and he did it! I enjoyed helping him. Take care,

Best Movers - They R the BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New York Movers were great with getting my things packed and moved. When I called the office they were more than helpful in making sure I got the information I needed or asked for. Their pricing was great with the gas prices being what they are and compared to other quotes. When they showed up (on time) they started right in and humped the things that needed to be packed quick and efficiently. They did not drag their feet to prolong the process. In fact we finished well ahead of my expectations by hours. There was no breakage of my belongings either. They wrapped and packed things very well. I had over 15 large pieces of glass from table tops and mirrors that they loaded, moved and unloaded without any problems. They were upbeat and happy to be working. We had a 100 mile drive to the new location with a stop at a storage unit. This was no problem and they packed the truck with the stop planned to make unloading quicker. I truly did appreciate the job that they completed
