“Food is so affordable that I must confess I have found an exact match for my search of a restaurant that I can recommend my family members and where I can throw all those special parties with a confidence that the party will be a huge success.”

Most Tasty Valentine's Day!. We had sorta family dinner on Valentine's Day - 3 couples. 4 people (including myself) ordered the special Valentine menu - YUMMY! My meal had started with the salad with my favourite panir, then I got some beetroot patties (which were OK), stuffed vegetables were just excellent so as the vegetables in the famous masala sauce. Service was wonderful and the overall atmosphere felt very cozy and enjoyable.
A Must Try!. Have tried few Indian restaurants in manhattan, since I work here.We were totally blown away with the food & service.Food.Reshmi kebab,Lamb bhune, some beet malai kofta, yellow daal were all fantastic.Service.The waiter was very couteous. It was my girlfreinds birthday & they surprised us with a choc cake(which was yummy too).Overall a must try.
Great Indian Cuisine. What I love about the food here is that you get Indian flavors & spices but in a more subtle way.I highly recommend this place in general I don't think you can go wrong here.
Excellent Indian. This food here is excellent, the service is outstanding and it is consistently good. We order from here at least once a week and have never, ever had a problem. I also am not able to eat spicy food, so when I ask for the food to be "very VERY mild" they listen, and deliver the order correctly. Mike, the owner, (and everyone else) is great and they remember who we are. If you are looking for some great Indian delivery this is definitely the place for you.
Amazingly Awesome. The customer service by Manek. I was so happy and the food was awesome.
Great Party!. Had my parents Wedding Anniversary. We were a party of 55 people. The food, the service was really great.Hat's off to them, they did a great job.
Pretty Average. Went there for Lunch Buffet: food was pretty average and uninspired.
Yummy. Have tried many Indian restaurants but none came close to Darbar's food and service. Reshmi Kebab and Tandoori Lamb Chops were to die for. Service was very prompt simply impeccable. Always ask to be seated upstairs as the ambiance is amazing!!
amazing food !!!!!!!!. I have tried many Indian restaurant in NY city and have been disappointed either with the food, the service or the ambiance. Last two weeks I have been to Darbar 3 times and every single time the food and service has consistently great, No one can touch their Reshmi Kebab, Tandoori Lamb chops and beet-root Malai Kofta. However I did not care much of there rice pudding. I would defiantly keep going back......
