Calming music and burning candles set a relaxed tone in the lounge, while spacious treatment rooms with comfy layers of bedding put spa-goers at ease. Steam showers and exceptionally neat locker facilities add to the allure. Fitness facilities and a private yoga room are also on-site. A plethora of relaxing, rejuvenating options are available, including assorted facials that range from purification to revitalization; a bevy of massages range from muscle-soothing sports, heavenly aromatherapy and tension-easing lava stone versions. Payot treatments--citrus body exfoliations, pink clay wraps,…

awesome sugar scrub!!
by NYCcrazy
I came to Oasis at the Affinia Dumont for a Brown Sugar Scrub, and I was absolutely thrilled with the results. Sandra did a really good job, and she was so nice! I didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable at all, even without my clothes on. And best of all, my skin was soooo soft afterwards!! :-)
- Pros: relaxing, friendly staff, great results
- Cons: none :-)
Best. Facial. Ever.

I went to Oasis for their 60 minute Signature Facial. The relaxation room was gorgeous, with dried fruit, water with slices of cucumber in it, candles and soft music. My esthetician was Sandra, who did an incredible job. She listened carefully while I told her about my skin and skincare routine, and during the treatment she told me exactly what she was doing and why. She also told me about the products and offered to give me samples, but did not push them at all. In fact, she recommended that I research them and decide whether they would be a good fit for me before buying - the complete opposite of a hard sell! I actually did end up buying the moisturizer because I liked it so much. The entire experience was very relaxing and enjoyable, and it made my skin look flawless. Afterwards, I used one of the steam showers, which was lovely. I will definitely be back.
- Pros: Great staff, gorgeous facility
Kevin A is the best masseuse by far
by LisaKull
Kevin did an amazing job on my back. Quickly located trouble spots and resolved them, without creating any flare-ups or pain -- something I was really worried about after a bad stretch of sciatica. He likes physical challenges, has incredibly strong hands and knows how to work out the kinks -- I was impressed by his thoroughness, and I feel the best I have in years.
- Pros: Strong Hands, diagnostic, resolves problem areas
- Cons: none
I tried the rest but Gina and Kevin are the best!

My husband and I have been getting weekly massages from Kevin and Gina at Oasis day spa for over 3 years now. They are truly the best because their massages are strong, effective, and yet very relaxing. 60 minutes of heaven followed by a steam bath makes me feel like a million bucks! My weekly massages have allowed me to push myself further in my daily workouts and as a result I am quickly losing the baby weight. i gained during my pregnancy. My husband no longer needs to see the chiropractor for his back pain and he's now able to work out 6 days a week (his cholesterol went from 215 to 181). I can honestly say that Oasis day spa at the Affinia Dumont is the best spa because it's clean, affordable, and the massage therapists are experienced and knowledgable.
- Pros: powerful massage that gets results - forget the chiropractor
- Cons: None
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY

I have been going to Oasis Day Spa @ 1Park Avenue for years and have always been satisfied. Just this past weekend I went to Oasis @ Affinia Dumont for a 60 minute massage, I was very disappointed at this spa location. The womens locker room was not as clean as it could be and the shower was dirty and quite frankly smelled like urine. My masseuse kept me waiting in the relaxation room for 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Upon entering the treatment room the shades in the room were wide open and I had to ask the masseuse to close them, my masseuse was also wearing jewelry which jingled while she was working on me, this was distracting to say the least and I had to ask her to remove the jewelry. Lastly my masseuse required a lot more training, this massage was quite possibly one of the worst I have ever had, dare I say I have had much better massages at my nail salon. In closing I left the spa feeling more stressed than I did when I came in, leaves a bad taste in the mouth when paying $110. for a massage that was not enjoyable or relaxing.
