Best! Thiing! Ever!

I never bother writing reviews for anything. But this wine store....is by far the best thing i could have wished for in this neighborhood. Ridiculously nice staff and amazingly selected wine. For someone who is a cheap lush like me, the fact that they have a great selection of 15 - 20 dollar wines that are actually really interesting and delicious is an amazing find in NY. May they live forever!

I don't get these reviews! Discovery has both a large selection and a GREAT selection. And the staff has never led me wrong, whatever I wanted to spend. Get to know the staff and you will have the perfect neighborhood wine store. And, they're open on Sunday!

What is this place?

I've shopped here just a few times and never been asked if I needed help. Seems like the nerdy guy with glasses is too busy drooling over his hot cashier. When they claim there is a tasting I feel so awkward because there are open bottles with no one attending to them. Who do I ask questions too. Also very bad liquor selection I guess those were handpicked as well? Always empty as I don' t like to feel like I'm the only one in the store but when I am again I get no service. All those display bottles must have dried out corks. Who needs to pay extra when other retailers in the area by far have better prices.
