great place for affordable haircare without compromise. I have curly hair and have tried all the typical places (B&B, Devachan)..sure they do a good job, but at what cost? Miguel Lopez's team does a better job for less money. With their holistic and human approach to each client (something that upscale salons tend to struggle with), I would recommend this upscale, no-airs salon without any hesitation. Miguel Lopez is relaxed, pleasant to work with & confident in his technique, knowledge and approach. All you do is sit back and watch him do his best work at a price that is very reasonable given the salons in the area. Pay them a visit for your next appt. I've been going there for 3 yrs and haven't been disappointed a single time - I would say that deserves a mention.

Isaac gave me a great hair cut. Stopped by on Wednesday and asked for my bangs trimmed. Isaac looked over my hair and threw out some really great hair cut ideas at me so I opted to go for it. We settled on the long shag and it is so cute! He meticulously blowdryed my hair and treated me so well! He also went out of his way to get me the discount. I couldn't be happier with my hair and that I've found a reasonably priced awesome hair stylist in NYC!

it is worth every penny. Ladies, all I can say is: just do it. It is worth every penny. This place feels like a spa, the professionals who work there are terrific, the space is immaculate and pleasant, and let me tell you: it works.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!. I recently moved to NYC and was frantic about finding someplace that could keep my blonde hair close to the color I already had. If you are not blonde you wouldn't understand how easy it is for it to become yellow or brassy (yuck!). I found Miguel on CitySearch and the minute I entered the salon I felt right at home. Everyone is so nice and attentive. Miguel touched up my roots, gave me the most gorgeous highlights I have ever seen and trimmed my hair exactly the way I asked. I have never felt so comfortable at a hair salon and have never been soooo happy with the results. The conditioning treatment that was for free with my full head of highlights was just amazing. My hair was so shiny and soft for days!! I would recommend Miguel to everyone and anyone, he is AMAZING! I can't wait to go back. Also, he is totally affordable.

Amazing!!!. Went to this salon today in a rush. I usually get my hair done in my neighborhood on the lower east but I was in soho and decided I would pop in and get a blowdry. They managed to take me right away. Guitano gave me a beautiful style with lots of body. I usually leave the salon feeling like I could have done it myself but this was definitely not the case.

wowww!!!. This is by far the best hair cutt in the city!!!!!!!! I have been going to him for five years..no matter where i go to get a haircutt in NYC no one is better then Miguel LOPEZ....

Greatest Hairstylist & Colorist in NYC!. Miguel & Will are fabulous! The moment you walk in they whisk you into a chair and your days' troubles begin to disappear. Miguel is a magician! He transforms my "in need of something hair" into stunning golden locks every time. The color always looks natural and even; just amazing! I have very straight hair that tends to lay flat or heavy when it gets too long. When Miguel cuts layers into my hair, they not only look fluid but add a lightness and bounce that wasn't there before.

fabulous fabulous fabulous!. im an actress from abroad. i got my hair done by gaetano about a year and a half ago. he did a wonderful job but on this trip i just couldnt remember where he was. i went to antonio pierto salon by mistake and got the worst haircolour ever! the colourist did not listen i my brief at all. i was very clear. i am a dark brunette. i said i wanted to go one shade lighter. it had to look very natural so no one could tell work had been done and i definetly did not want stripey highlights or that tacky orange brassy look that brunette hair can go.

so what did she do? she gave me stripey orange highlights. it looked very tacky. a friend took pity and located gaetano for me. as soon as i walked into the gorgeous boudoir salon i felt i had come home.

gaetano spent two hours fixing her mistake. he softened out the chunky highlights , added lowlights and had to put not one but two colorwashes over it to get rid of the orange.he is very instinctive and follows the brief. he really listened and could see at once where the problem areas were. the result was great! these guys really know colour. my hair looked lovely and i left feeling fabulous.

the salon is so pretty , the staff are friendly, i will never forget my way again! thanks gaetano x

Beautiful salon. I had a mani pedi at this place last week. They were so friendly(they offered me a choice of beverages) and did a fabulous job. The salon/spa was not like your typical spa. It felt very much like a parlor. The atmosphere is calm and the girl who did my nails was very professional. The hairstylists were also nice and seemed very talented.

amazing transformation. I visited this salon before I went to my families house for the holidays. Gaetano was recommended from a friend, so I decided to go with him. I told him that I wanted to be adventurous and change my dried out faded color to a spicy red. I wanted a big change and also wanted him to cut off almost 10 inches. From the beginning I felt I could trust him. Not only did he do an amazing color but the haircut was so sharp looking. Everyone tells me that I should have done the red color a long time ago. I feel like it compliments my features so much. The staff were very helpful and the salon was so serene. So happy to find Gaetano! Definitely be back.
