Cementing Queens as the go-to borough for authentic ethnic cuisine, this restaurant deals in succulent Argentinian steaks.

ambiance
100.0% positive
  1. recommend it to any sports fan or Argentinian or anyone in general who won't mind a little bit of fun noise while they eat their juicy Churrasco or Parrillada!
  2. We were so pleased with the ambiance, (casual, bright and interesting) the friendly and attentive service, the delicious food (try the skirt steak) and the reasonable prices.
  3. Yes it was loud, but that didn't bother us- we weren't there for a quiet/romantic dinner- this place is something like a sports restaurant (since they have two big plasma screens (muted) and lots of sports memorbilias on the walls to look at. )
  4. Friendly atmosphere.
  5. The best thing is the sport atmosphere which my bf and dad love.

Boca's tops to this gringo

by tedjoespop at Citysearch

I have been to eat many times at Boca Juniors. And have always found the food to be the best South American food in the city bar none.... The skirt steak & empnadas are as if you were sitting in Buenos Aires at a sidewalk cafe enjoying lunch or dinner. Their sangria is by far the best I've ever had & the service is outstanding. Friendly atmosphere..........

The worst restaurant of New York!!!

by PaoloPipo at Citysearch

I am from Germany and I visited New York in February 2009. At the last day of our trip, we

decided to go to the Boca Juniors Steakhouse, because our hotel was next to the restaurant.

I would be happy, if we had decided not to!

The food was so bad: On our Mix-Grilled-Plate we found only fat sausages, which were very,

very old. There was no beef. Only old and hard sausage and a very small piece of pork.

The waiter was absolutety unfriendly. We got the wrong food (spanish

omlet for 14$ instead of spanish potatoes for 4$) but the waiter didnt take it back.

The waiter wrote 18% tip on the bill, without asking! This is discusting!

The restaurant was very empty, and now I know why. If they keep on doing like this,

they will have to close soon.. very soon!

Never Again!

by GrantGrams at Citysearch

This place was noisy, dirty and the food was of very poor quality. Every 5 minutes they would blast some song for a few minutes which was funny at first but became annoying as it kept happing throughout the dinner. The food was not good; the meat especially was of poor quality and the olvie oil tasted spoiled. To top it all off the whole staff had a bad attitude.

  • Pros: none
  • Cons: everything
