Is a very nice place, if you're far away from the Italian neighborhood in Bond you can eat a great Italian food with a great service
Forks for coffee and gelato?. HOw does a restaurant that charges over $30 for a pizza not have t spoons? Though our waiter was great and the food fine, the fact that the restaurant was out of spoons for our coffee and dessert turned an ok dinner into a I would never go back" experience.
bad bad bad. it was going to be a wonderful night that how i planed it i made a rez for 2 and bond 45.dont go there terrible service at the door.
Very tasty and very romantic. We went to eat here after randomly looking for a place after a Broadway show. THe place is HUGE but was quite empty by the time we got there. We had an extremely nice and attentive waitress. The food was superb and we thought the price was acceptable.
A definite YES for pre theatre great meal. Perfect for pre theatre, close to everything, a cut above most in the area, and not a tourist trap feel. The staff is great and aware that you have to make a show... they also have opinions of the shows also so you get good insight. The food is wonderful and service beautiful. Don;t be afraid to split a dinner so that you aren't too full for the show. Love the place.
holla. my friend suggested we try out this restaurant... so i read the reviews and saw that someone had said john from florida was a good waiter. when we got to the restaurant we just happned to get john and he is the BEST. best service ever-- he even tried to hail us a cab. we got two orders of the special that night which was striped bass and the sliced steak toscana. everyone really enjoyed their meals. the drinks were good too! we definitely want to go back... VERY IMPRESSED!
great food but better waiter. first time at bond 45. food was excellent but even better was our waiter. he was extremely friendly, professional, but most important sincere in what he did. typically waiters in the new york area have a certain cocky air about them, but not this young man. he atated his name was john and he was from tampa, fl. not only was he friendly but he new how to turn on the charm with my wife and children, which made our experience wonderful. our food took longer than normal, but his quick wit and charm won us over. the food was well worth the wait, but in could have been another hour and it would not have mattered. sure to return and hope john is available. recommend asking for john if you ever visit bond 45. thanks for a great time.
Mama Mimaaaa...Pizaaa... Yum! Went here for a birthday party. Loved the Italian food and cool old slaughterhouse atmosphere.
Avoid at all costs. Possibly the worst meal i've had in nyc. How you ruin something as basic as "brick oven chicken" is beyond me. the presentation was almost as disgusting as the food - 4 dried out potatoes and a shriveled chicken carcass. Having eaten in many actual Italian restaurants in new york, i had high hopes for a good meal and instead paid far too much for lousy " italian" food. They say the chef is from Italy, he should go back and see how they do it. The only saving grace was our waitress, she was a real pistol
Fabulous Steak - Great Italian.. We went twice last week - once for dinner, once for lunch. The 8 oz. filet is amazing - so tender, perfectly cooked rare, no salt/pepper needed. Also, go for the antipasti sampler and get the baked zucchini w/parm.
