Expensive and Crowed. We were there for a fundraiser and had drink specials as part of the deal for the party. First time I attempted to go to the bar was my last one: the bartender was in the worst mood ever for a Friday night over populated environment, super slow with the drinks and overcharged me for the drink specials! I was expecting a $25 charge and she came up with $55!!! The DJ was good but that was it! Not going back there anytime soon... ;-(

5 thumbs Down!!. Did not have a good experience and would not recommend ANYONE to go..

From the person who collects $$ @ the door, who is not personable and just mean, to management who doesn't care how staff treats patrons, nor who's interested in rectifying any issues/complaints.

I am a really laid back and open minded person, willing to listen and discuss a problem, and I wrote and email to the manager who did not even have the courtesy to respond!

Great place for a birthday party. Went here this past weekend with my friends for a birthday party. The lounge was filled with a great crowd. Everyone at the birthday party had fun night, drinks werent to expensive. The DJ played great music mostly a good mix of rock and top 40. I would recommend this to anyone looking to party.

GREAT FOR GROUP PARTIES. MYSELF AND 1 OF MY BEST FRIENDS HAD A DOUBLE BIRTHDAY PARTY AT MANNAHATTA A COUP;E OF WEEKS AGO. WE FOUND THAT THE MANAGEMENT WERE VERY CORDIAL AND HELPFUL WITH PLANNING THE EVENT AND EVERYTHING WENT OF WITHOUT A HITCH. DRINKS WERE STRONG AND TASTY, CHECK OUT THE COCKTAIL LIST. THE DJ WAS FAB AND WE GOT IT ALL FOR A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE LOOKING TO THROW A PARTY

Great Party & Food. Went here for my holiday party a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. The place was a little crowded, but what you would expect for a space of this size. The food was really delicious - I think they got it from a local restaurant on Clinton Street. Everybody we dealt with was really hospitable. Highly recommend for a group or party.

I liked it.... I'm seeing all these bad reviews, but we went to mannhatta for a bachelorette party this past weekend and had a great time. It IS very crowded, but we had a table in the back and our waitress was really nice. We never had any problems getting in- duh, don't go to a club if you don't want to have to be crammed in like sardines! We got a free bottle of champagne for a toast and no one stopped us from dancing on our table even though the bouncer was standing right by us. I used to go to the old location all the time before it closed and always had a good time, the new place is smaller but everyone we were with had a good time. We'll go back.

Horrible is an understatement.. its HORRENDOUS!. all i can say is HORRIBLE! Horrible service, horrible manager, too crowded and they just lie to you! Not worth your time....

They say one thing and will tell you another. The manager is really obnoxious!

I had THE worst bday party ever! I must agree with the other negative reviews for this place.

pass on mannahatta. so i had my party at mannahatta last year and thought, why not again this year? so, the same party planner at mannahatta, erin, and i coordinated and struck a deal similar to my last year's party for this year's party table, but when we got to mannahatta on saturday, the biznatch of a hostess, mya, flipped out and started yelling at me about how erin was lying and how there were plenty of other people who would be willing to pay what they wanted and that we should leave the table.

what a way to start the night. i was very cordial despite her absolute jerk-like behavior and asked her not to yell at me considering it was not my fault but miscommunication on mannahatta's management's part, but she kept yelling at me anyway.

the management at mannahatta is rude and a bunch of liars. forgo this place if ever planning a party or going out with friends. there are so many other places in nyc to have a good time where they treat their customers better. so much better.

mya can go bite it. she's probably going to get fired anyway with her attitude problem.

i'm tempted to write an email to mannahatta and also go on the online sites, such as citysearch and yelp to write reviews, but here's the first review: mannahatta's management really dropped the ball on hiring mya and in general, it just isn't what it used to be. pass on mannahatta unless you want to have a hostess yell at you for a mistake they made.

Best Night!. I had such an amazing night! The staff was great and the bartender was such a hotty...I was a little skpeticial when I saw how crowded it was, but all my friends had a great time.... there wasn't enough room to dance on the floor, so we danced on the tables ;-) I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a great night out.

Great music, great dancing.... We set up a joint b-day party with like almost 100 people and this bar completely were cool with the huge guestlist we gave them. We had no problems getting everyone in and our open bar was awesome. The DJ was really sweet and everyone ended up dancing on tables. I reccomed this place if you are looking for a place to bring a big group of people without any hassles...we'll definately be back on the regular.
