super friendly and helpful. we went late on a saturday night and were able to get our food in just a few minuets. it was a little empty but the food and service were still exceptional. the tropical #1 roll was great! also super affordable sake prices. nice place to make a regular sushi spot!!!

Wow, what a great place to eat. Thanks for the awesome food, the service was great, the atmosphere was ecstatic and the waiters were above and beyond in terms of friendliness. Would recommend to all my friends!

Best sushi and more in Astoria. This is the best deal in Astoria- the freshest sushi, creative rolls, lots of options, great seafood soup, best potstickers as advertised. Duck and fish entrees are great. Inexpensive quality sake options. Highly recommend!

sushi...sooo fresh and the best. Ive been dining at various sushi restaurants for 35 years from manhattan to Montauk. I am not an expert by any means on the aspects of sushi, and being 48yrs of age.. . I dont get very excited about ..well anything at all anymore..but this restaurant is fantastic.! The artful presentation and generous portions of their inventive rolls,sushi,sashimi and other asian inspired dishes were not only delicious but were beautiful as well. Service was exemplary as well as the atmosphere. I was so pleased with the fine cuisine I had them cater two parties in the past three months..my friends were in awe of the coolest sushi platters. Everyone loves JJ'S

Always Great. The Astoria Roll, the spicy tuna rolls, spicy salmon rolls, the dumplings with creamy wasabi sauce, gyoza, blackened tuna rolls, etc....all extremely good-when I'm good, this is what I reward myself with. You will not be disappointed!

Best Sushi in Astoria. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The rice is cooked to perfection. Even dishes that I've been turned off of in the past from other restaurants I will eat here. The ambiance is also A++ and it is very clean.

Nice ambiance. We went for a lunch on a hot saturday afternoon. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant. Food was good but the service was pretty slow considering there was hardly anyone there. Who knows - maybe it was an off-night. I'd try it again

Disappointing sushi. I had a sushi lunch special that includes 5 pieces of sushi- one of them had imitation crab!!! I have never seen that anywhere. The other sushi fishes were tough and not the best quality. I am disappointed and I am not going back there for sushi.
