Very Relaxing. Something about this place just gets me to relax . It attracts a very professional crowd, but one can tell that Pound and Pence serves as a great place for them to "kick off their shoes" and unwind. On top of the unique space ( I felt like I was in an English pub), the food is delicious!

Favorite Pub. It's nice to know of a good bar in this area. Great food, and they even have fries in the shape of chips! The waitstaff was pretty attentive and this place has got a nice vibe. Can't wait for my next visit.

Fun Place to Start the Weekend. P and P has a lively bar scene and a great atmosphere. It's a great lunch spot and I love getting drinks there after work with friends. Definately one of the best places to hang out in the neighborhood.

Best Chicken Tikka Masala!. Coming from the UK, you expect to be able to find a good Curry at English Pubs, most pubs in NYC do not have this. Pound and Pence has the PERFECT Curry. It's full of flavor and traditional Indian spices. The all white chicken is an added bonus.

Great for After Work. My colleagues and I have been coming here for awhile now and the bar keeps getting better! They have this amazing promo offering half price drinks when the dow drops. We always say we are only going to stay for one drink but we always end up staying the whole night. Love this place.

Wednesday Night was Great!. I came for Ladies Night on Wednesday and it was GREAT! 2 for 1 Drinks! This is my favorite Brit Pub in the area, there was even a party for the NY Brits there! Talk about authenticity. I love the true British pints here too, it's difficult to find that outside of the UK.

I will definitely be a regular here!

Selections!. I love this place. There are so many different choices. I could eat here everyday and never get bored. There are soups, salads, curry, meat, fish, everything! The after work crowd is really great too, great bar atmosphere.

Delicious Vegetarian Options. Being a vegetarian, I sometimes find it hard to get creative menu options other than grilled vegetables. Here at Pound and Pence, I have tried the Black Bean Veggie Burger and the Spinach Salad. Both options were wonderful and full of flavor. I love the whole black beans in the burger, it is a hearty and delicious meal perfect for those breaks from work. The spinach salad was great especially with the goat cheese and garlic toast.

Good food, good fun. I go to NY financial district twice a year and always make a point to visit the P&P. I sit at the bar and have lunch or after work drinks. THe food is very good; I don't think it's expensive at all for NY. The bartenders are all great and the food and drinks come out fast. I like this place better than any other I have vistied in the area.
