Rocking Roti Rolls - better than Kati Roll. Roti Roll is affordable and tasty. Sometimes the roti rolls are prepared with care, other times I feel they are rushed. Sometimes the roti (bread) itself is larger and then the roti roll is more substantial. Quality is always good but the standards of what you're getting, can vary.

They have good vegetarian options though do cook the egg and meats and veg stuff on the same stove. One very good thing, compared to Kati Roll and other places is the rolls here are not drenched in oil. When you hold the roll, your hands don't get oily (this is my big issue with Kati Roll).

The staff is good, especially the Nepali engineering student.

This place is attached to a bar-lounge next door that's a happening spot (gay-friendly for sure).

Lots of students go to this place. This is mostly a take-out place but they do have abotut 6 stools and a counter so eating a quick bite is possible.

Good fast food. I love the rolls, however, I hate a few things about this place:

- No separate stove for vegetarian items. I had pieces of chicken in my unda aloo.

- That indian guy who works there ( thinks he is Jay Cutler) was mocking a chubby looking man as he was eating his roll facing the other side. The people who work there have some attitude problem.

Love it! Tasty, cheap, and fast delivery. We tried this place 2 weeks ago and have since ordered from there 3 times! Each roll is packed with flavor and surprisingly filling. Our favorites on the menu so far are the Aloo Gobi Muttar, Chicken Mali, and Chicken Lollipop. We got the calamari and it was good but I think i like the Chicken lollipop better, maybe because we had the calamari delivered the fried part wasn't as crispy as it could have been. Also, i should mention the delivery is very fast. Last night the person showed up in about 15 minutes. Definitely try this place out!

might be good in a desperate situation, but I'm not going back anytime soon. I know a ton of people who love Roti Roll, so I wanted to try it out for myself. $4 per roll is a good deal for the neighborhood, but you have to temper your expectations. A minor complaint-- they used too much grease on the roti bread of my wrap. If I ever went back, I'd be sure to ask them to skip the oils. Putting Indian food in a wrap might be a great solution for hungry college students, and let's face it, Morningside Heights needs more affordable places to eat, but this place won't cut it for me. I had the Chicken Mali roll-- filling but not tasty enough to make me want to go back anytime soon.

Filling, Delicious, Cheap, GOOD. No need to make a special trip but if you are in the area keep this place in mind. It is an excellent quick lunch option and the rolls are very fililng and prepared fresh. Delivery is also good and NOTE...they deliver very late. The physical space is tiny so don't plan on eating there but don't ignore this tiny gem just because of its size.

Cheap and Filling. When I first looked at the rolls, I was skeptical. They seemed awfully small and you could get two potato ones for around $5, which seemed like a low price for a meal. Two rolls turned out to be more than I could eat. We enjoy the chicken and potato rolls. The masala calamari is great too.

Service is always fast and friendly. This is a great deal.

Delicious, quick, cheap.. Roti Roll is my default in this area, and I've been frequenting them for over a year now. In my experience, their food has always been good: always tasty, never greasy, priced at a good value, and with enough options to satisfy everyone, including both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Great Rolls. Instead of making the trek down to midtown or the village for rolls, I decided to try this place. I had the Chicken rolls - fantastic stuff. Two rolls for 7 bucks - now that is cheap. This place like most others is open late.

Great Value for Money. I am vegetarian - so this review applies only to the veg portion of their menu. Their rolls are tasty and they will customize it for you - I ask for extra onions and tomatoes and ask them to add the spicy chutney. They have a wide selection of veggie options - Paneer (cheese), Alu (potatoes), Palak Panneer (Spinach and Cheese), Okra, Mushroom and Tofu.

Their hot alu fries (potato chips) are very nice - just make sure you ask for them to be made crisp.

SUCKS!!!. I ATE at this place the day it opened. initially indeed it was good, but over the time it has gone worse to horrible. tonite i had paneer frankies AND THEY were HORRIBLE!!! the bread was thick, sticky, and the filling was non-existent....with mainly onions and tomatoes...maybe some paneer as seasoning!!!...and they have raised proces since opening....maybe poor columbia students go there for cheap eats but not worth it otherwise!!!
