I live in San Francisco. I called their 1-800-346-1290 number in New York and they said that someone from there San Francisco office would come to my house and fix my computer within 2-4 hours, which was fine. And they also said that the cost would not be more than $170. The person who looked a my computer looked a it for a long time. He asked me a few questions like did I do anyhing with the BIOS settings and I said no. And then after a while of pressing Control+Alt +Del, he asked me if I tried to take to computer apart. I again said no. The tech person then proceeded to open up my computer and tried to open up the CD - ROM part of the computer thinking there was some problem in there that wasn't making the computer work, he couldn't open it. The tech person then said the best idea he could offer was sending the computer back to the company where the computer was purchased. Now, the tech person never left my house until the very end of what he could do. He did not need to go and get new hardware or additional components to install on my computer and he didn't stay a my house for more than 1 hour and a half. Now, 1 Hour Computer Suport said it would cost just $170 to fix my computer. They didn't do anything. They charged me $255 for, basically, coming out to my house and telling me that I need to send my computer back. I do not, I repeat do not, recommend this company whatsoever. They are a tremendous rip off and they are not straight with you at all.

These guys are great! I could no longer see anything on my laptop screen and everyone told me I needed a new LCD. The techinician came and swapped out a part (and inverter?) which cost me less than 100 dollars. Their rates are great, they came right to my apartment and did all the work in my home and their honesty saved me from buying a new 15.4 inch LCD. Thanks guys.
