GOOD/BAD. LET'S START OFF WITH THE GOOD, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GREAT TRAINER'S, EXCELLENT WORKOUTS. TRAINER'S HELP SO MUCH AND GIVE GREAT ADVICE ALWAYS HAVE A LAUGH OR TWO WHILE WORKING OUT. NOW THE BAD, LET ME SAY I AM A MEMBER AT EQUINOX AND MY GYM IS SPOT LESS. TRINITY FAILS AT THAT. THEIR WALLS AND CEILINGS ARE BOTH CHIPPING THERE PIPES WHEN GOING TO LOCKER ROOM ON CEILING ARE BLACK MIND YOU THEIR WHITE. BATHROOM'S CAN USE MORE WORK : NEW SHOWER CURTAINS , EXTRA AMENITIES. PAYING 200 - 250 FOR MEMBERSHIP NOBODY SHOULD HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. THEIR WORKOUT FLOOR IS DIRTY YOU CAN FIND WATER BOTTLES , MOUTH GUARDS ALL OVER THE RING, GYM EQUIPMENT IS OLD MATS , BALLS ETC .. AT OTHER GYM'S THEY UPDATE THEIR EQUIPMENT EVERY 5 MONTHS TO A YEAR THE LATEST. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOWEL SHELFS INSTEAD OF THEM BEING DISPLAY ON A DESK WHERE WORKERS MAY EAT TIME TO TIME. WHEN I HAD ATTENDED THIS GYM AS A INTRO TO BOXING MEMBERSHIP I WAS HONESTLY DISAPPOINTMENT AT A TRAINER WHO I MUST SAY AND PLEASE FOR GIVE ME IS A TRUE RED NECK. EVER DISRESPECTFUL, CURSES A STORM AND COMPLAINS ABOUT THE MUSIC I RATHER HEAR CURSES ON MUSC THEN COMING OUT HIS MOUTH . I EVEN CAUGHT HIM SMOKING WEED IN FRONT OF THE GYM I LIVE 2 BLOCKS AWAY CAUGHT HIM IN THE PARK WITH MEMBERS SMOKING, EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM WAS BAD I DID PADS WITH HIM AND LEARN NOTHING BUT HOW TO PULL SOMETHING , WHEN TRAINING WITH OTHER'S I LEARN THE CORRECT STAND AND MOTION'S . I MUST SAY THIS ESTABLISHMENT MUST IMPROVE I LOVE THE TRAINERS THEY SHOULD ME A LOT BUT THE GYM ITSELF NEEDS IMPROVEMENT AND FAST BEFORE THEY SHUT DOWN IF THEY WERE TO CLEAN FLOORS, POLISH WOOD, RE PAINT FOR THE KIDS AT LEAST, TAKE BETTER CARE OF BATHROOMS, AND FIRING THAT ONE TRAINER. I WOULD NOT MIND PAYING FOR A MEMBERSHIP AND REFERRING FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO THIS GYM . IMPROVEMENT IS KEY.

Best Gym In Town. What's a 52 year old woman doing at a BOXING GYM? Getting in the best shape of my life that's what! I've pretty much done it all - weights, classes, cycling, and marathoning but boxing is by far the best workout I've ever had. Ladies, if you're intimidated by a boxing gym you have no worries at Trinity. No one there expects me to become a professional boxer (unless you want to be) but the trainers treat you like you are one. My goal is to get a great workout, learn a new skill, and HAVE FUN! I'm acheiving my goal at Trinity. As a result I'm stronger, more agile, and healthier than I've ever been. And I'm much more confident in everything I do.

Trinity feels like home away from home. When I walk in the door I feel like Norm from Cheers. It's a place where everybody knows my name. People care about you there - trainers and members alike.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Don't go here!!

Except for a select few, the trainers are absolute dogs. They routinely cheat on their spouses and girlfriends with gym members and get away with it because they all lie for each other. The trainers routinely make sexual advances towards female gym members, and one was so forward that he recently was fired. Though, in my opinion, nearly all of them should be fired. The membership is very expensive...and to be sexually harassed on top of it? It's simply unacceptable.

On top of being crude and unprofessional, the trainers consistently snuck in drinks on Friday nights when the boss left early. By the end of the night, most of the trainers were drunk and paid little, if any, attention to the members who were looking for pad holders. Any other night of the week, they could be found sitting around and gossiping or tinkering with their phones instead of working.

It was only after a few months of training that I realized the full extent of the corruption and the disgraceful quality of the people who worked at this gym. Don't waste your money by training here if you're a female... there's no need to subject yourself to that type of environment.

**Note this is mainly for women. Most of the male members I knew never had a problem, except for the trainers' lack of attention.

FANTABULOUS Workout and People. I was working in NYC for 4 months, and decided to give boxing a try. I came across Trinity and decided to check it out. I visited the gym to get a feel for what it was, and instantly was drawn to it. No Trial Lesson needed, I instantly knew I'd love it!! The gym has an energetic atmosphere that really inspires you to get in the boxing mood, at least it did me.

No need to have boxing experience either! The trainers here take their time with you and really teach you how to box without making you feel like you look a horrendous cheerleader. In the 4 months I was at the gym I really felt like I became part of the Trinity Family. I looked forward to going to the gym not only for the great workout but to see the training crew as well. I will DEFINITELY be back @ Trinity every time I am assigned to NYC!

Highly recommended. I can't say enough about the level of customer service. I work in the city, but I have a pretty substantial commute. I signed up for a six-month membership at Trinity, but I only went to the gym a few times before I realized that the commute was too much. John, the owner, was fantastic. He let me out of my contract without any hassle, and had I lived closer, I would definitely have continued at the gym. Cozy, friendly, but very hard work!

Trinity became my family.. Trinity is not just a gym, it's not even only a boxing gym, trinity is family. Once you start going there it is impossible to quit, because of the graeta work out, good and experienced trainers, atmosphere. No matter who you are, you will Trinity as a fighter. Trinity made me stronger not only physically, it made me stronger as a person. I joined trinity about a year ago and started going almost everyday, but a couple of months ago I had to move out from nyc, I come back as often as I can, so I just can go to trinity and box. Trinity is the place I will never stop coming back to.

Excellent Trainer Great Workout. I just had a trial session and I loved it. The trainer I had Olek (spelling?) was awesome, he was attentive in correcting my form and really seemed like an experienced instructor. And I have little experience in boxing. I felt really comfortable and challenged!

Trinity - plenty of genuine soul. To the client who thinks the soul has been gutted from Trinity...well you just have not worked out with Russell. I've risen to a new fitness and skill level since Russell and John have come on board. They don't just tell me what to do, they explain WHY I'm doing it. And if you think the trainers are not paying attention...just try to slack off a little.

As with any endeavor, you get out of it what you put in. Russell, John, and all of the trainers at Trinity make me want to give it my all. If you'd like to do the same, check out the post-bag work conditioning I call Russell-Mania. The best workout I've ever had!
