Editorial Review for Latitude – by Kara Zuaro
In Short
At this tri-level midtown spot, more than 20 super-sized flat-screen TVs make it hard to miss the game--but it's not just a sports bar. Office pals pack into booths and bar stools on the crowded first floor, or head to the second level for a round of pool. Groups lounge in cherrywood chairs in the third-story space. Bars on each level keep the drinks flowing.

Really? this place is a big deal? Meh, i didn't think so. Went on a Friday night and it was crowded, duh.. I will say the following in my internet monotone voice There are a lot of beers. Wow. Continue in normal voice Perhaps this is just not my scene, which is why I'm drinking on the hatorade. SD isn't bad-it's just not moi.
Pros: rich on beers
Cons: too loud

We go to Latitude a lot, especially for happy hour. Never had a problem here, do not fall for the "fake" one time "reviewers' " reviews (spell check??) I know a lot about food and drink also and this is an average place. The only negative thing about it is I can say is it would be better if they "cleaned" it up a little and changed the lighting. It also has an upstairs with a few rooms that host parties too. The foods that I tried that are very good here, and it is NOT bar grub food are: spring rolls, french fries; they are crisp and hot!! and the wraps, especially the salmon and tuna roll, everything is fresh too. The bartenders are very nice and so is the bouncer, they are always respectful and we talk to them all the time. Again, we never had a problem here, never saw a problem and have been coming here for a year and a half. Mind you its not the Plaza, that is why it is a bar, just a place to hang.
Pros: Good service, food and drink
Cons: They can fix it up a bit
