In Short – Chef Roberto Passon, known for his work at Chelsea's much-loved Venetian eatery, Le Zie, brings his take on regional Italian cuisine to this bright yellow corner restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. Flowing curtains and white tablecloths give the space an upscale feel, but the menu is fairly priced. House specialties--such as white asparagus with eggs and prosciutto, tender venison over papardelle pasta and rich braised rabbit--draw local couples and theatergoers alike.

Best Pri-fixed lunch in the City!!!

by Bridgetann

This is truly the best prifixed lunch in all of New York! For $13.00 You get a three course meal with deliciously large portions and a vast menu to choose from. They also have a wonderful wine selection. Just don't come if you are looking for lunch in a hurry. The service was a bit on the slow side.

  • Pros: Food and Pricing
  • Cons: Slow service

Consistently solid dining

by yippee1999

I have eaten here a number of times now. The decor is nice, clean, uncluttered. Service is good. And the pasta dishes are very good. We've had the taglierini with lamb ragu, the fetuccini with wild mushroom sauce and white truffle oil, and the fusilli with applewood smoked bacon and braised radicchio. All were excellent.

Their wines are also quite good, as was the arugula and goat cheese salad with mango.

This is now one of my standard go-to places for Italian food in the Midtown West area....

  • Pros: quality food
  • Cons: none

Always a wonderful time

by nycfaith

My boyfriend and I go to Roberto Passon on a regular basis, and are never dissapointed! The food is always excellent, usually with a few specials that intrigue us. Yes, it is a small restaurant, and is usually packed to the gills, but that is a part of its charm. We enjoy the great food, italian wine list, and a waitstaff that will bring us something when we need it and leave us alone otherwise!

  • Pros: food, wine list
  • Cons: small space
