This studio is the best thing that happened to Pilates. ALL of the instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone on on staff knows me by name. The classes are small and challenging with individual attention. What more can you ask for?! It will not disappoint!

The BEST Pilates in town

I was afraid to leave my downtown Pilates trainer of several years, but found the best studio in town right in my neighborhood. Mika has designed the studio to be welcoming, with lots of light and African art to contemplate as you work out. Kelly welcomes and cheerfully keeps everyone organized. My trainer Nicole is the best. She keeps me motivated and has stregthened and re-alligned my body, making sure my workouts are challenging and that I never overdo or hurt anything. We're so lucky to have Uptown Pilates uptown.

A great workout

My friends call me a fitness freak. I have been running, biking, and yoga-ing for years now. I had taken a mat pilates class a few years ago at a studio in NYC. This class actually turned me off of pilates. A few months ago I realized that my legs felt heavy and bulky from years of doing only traditional workouts. My friend recommended that I try pilates insisting that I would gain lean muscle and flexibility. Indeed after about 10 private sessions I did see a difference in my shape, posture, and flexibility. I was also thrilled that, unlike the studio I went to a few years ago, Uptown Pilates is clean and the instructors are great. Thanks Uptown!
