An intimate, laid-back lounge with a secret getaway feel.. The Scene
Just like Alice, visitors must go down--a long flight of stairs to be exact--to access this dark, alluring haven. Soft blue lighting accents the sweeping wraparound bar, and palm trees dot the cozy yet uncramped space. The curtained cabanas that fringe the lounge are stocked with chips and non-alcoholic drinks in their mini-fridges. Despite the privacy, they're better for groups than couples as a constant stream of people moves past.

The Draw
The layout makes it equally easy to hang back and observe or to mingle with the attractive, diverse crowd grooving to the mix of old-school, hip-hop, and dance music. The restrained bartenders efficiently mix super-sweet apple martinis and cosmos and plenty of harder drinks for the crowd. Stay toward the front to feel the music pounding in your stomach or venture to the back side of the bar for extra room and a quieter vibe.
