Believe the hype and get in line. Also, don't overlook the french fries dipped in salted caramel!

Best burger value in the city; get the double shack burger with cheese and be prepared for the awesomeness that follows; tender patties, melty cheese and an awesome bun!

Just. Simply. Amazing. Be sure to order up an extra side of Shack Sauce to dip your fries into. Trust me, you'll be happy you did.

Shake Shack is the In N Out of the East Coast. The line is reliably long and the burgers aren't large. But order two and their signature shake for a great meal. And if you have a dog with you, the fast food eatery also has a dog treat menu. Beat that West Coast.

Yes, the line is ridiculous, and no, the burger isn't better than Schnipper's around the corner. But oh! The custard! And the good news it that it has its own, much shorter line.

Same Shake Shack as anywhere, but this one comes with added ambiance of Madison Square Park -- perfect for low-fuss dates in summer.

The best juicy burger in NYC. Nothing is better than having a great burger in NYC best small park. Stay away from the hot dogs. Not bad but no where near as good as the burger. As for the line, if you go during lunch time then it will be long. Go during off hours and the line is short.

It's Okay – I went here for a quick bite to eat. I've heard so much about this place and decided this was the perfect time to try it. Honestly... I thought it was okay. The service was pretty fast. I did not get a burger. I got a shake and the Chicago hot dog. Maybe I need to try the burgers. I thought the hot dog was average and I've tasted better shakes. I probably wouldn't go back there again since everything was just okay for me but I might reconsider a visit one day.

Amazing burgers – This has become my go to place for some good juicy burgers. The meat's perfectly cooked and whatever sauce they put on it is a sure winner. I always get a double because a single just isn't enough...and it's a cruel joke because you'll end getting in line again for another one. So save yourself the trouble and make sure you get a double. The fries I don't think is all that special but the burger is the star when I come here. I've also tried their chocolate shake and I liked it but I liked the root beer float a lot better. This location has some thieving squirrels so be prepared. They're so brazen that they will literally get on your table and steal the fries right out of your basket. The 1st time I came here I was pretty shocked. We had to get up and leave our table and watch those thieves steal our condiments and even our forks. Oh and the line...I've waited about 45 min. the last time I was there but their burger's worth the wait I think. It's a beautiful location especially when the weather is nice.

Mmmmm Shake Shack – My favorite place to eat when I'm near Madison Square Park. Just don't go at lunch time because everyone's got the same idea you do and the lines can get looooooong

Their milkshakes brings all the boys to the park... – This little place began as a tiny cart in the park and now it’s one of the parks biggest attractions. The Shake Shack offers New Yorkers and tourists a like an opportunity to get a burger, fries and some custard all while chilling in the park.

First things first, be prepared to wait. This place has become so popular that some day/nights you can wait well over an hour to place your order. One good thing is they have a B line, which is normally much shorter. There are only a few items that you can purchase from this line but one of them is beer. I say order a beer and then wait in line while you do a little happy hour with the friends. You can also check the Shake Shack Cam online to see how bad or good the line is, but since there are over 8 million people living in NYC the line could look short on the cam but by the time you get there it could be awfully long.

The burgers are the best in this class. The are fresh, tasty and good quality. The fries are crinkle cut. Normally not my favorite but for some reason these taste so much better than all the others I’ve had.Their custard is TDF (to die for)

Overall hip place with scrumptious food.

Ok if you like long lines and mediocre food.. – Its nice and in the park but the lines are very long for food that is what it is... Its always fun to hit this place up once or twice in the summer and spring...
