Editorial Review for CoCo & Delilah – by Lynn Suhrie
In Short
Whitewashed floors and walls, a crystal chandelier, and a floor-to-ceiling bubblegum pink dressing room set the stage for a collection of slightly edgy, super-comfy women's basics. "No itchy fabrics" is practically a mandate here, and regulars stop by to stock up on printed tees from Made U Look, Drifter, and Rebel Yell, and designer denim from James, Blue Cult and more. More refined pieces, such as baby-doll tunics and flouncy skirts, also stock the shelves.

What's great about this place is that I've always seen a good range of tasteful-looking dresses, and at a reasonable price range, too. They have plenty of simple, basic dresses, so it's almost a near certainty that one will be able to find a great black dress there. There are also really cute and/or pretty styles there, too, that are good for everything from casual to dressy. They also have a good selection of jeans, and it's great when they're on sale, which is almost always. Another plus is that the salespeople there are honest about what looks good and what doesn't; I haven't felt like they push something just to make a sale. One downside is that there's only one dressing room, and because there's no maximum number of things one can try on, you can wind up waiting a while.
Pros: Good selection; good service; reasonable prices.
Cons: Not close to subway; most of the good on-sale dresses are gone by the time you get there.

I had such a fabulous experience at CoCo&Delilah, that I thought they deserved a great big 'thank you'. Designer jeans are an investment for me, and the owner was so kind and thoughtful that she helped me pick out jeans that would work for me and my figure. They had a great selection that fits many sizes, not just super skinny people, and she was considerate in helping me find what worked and looked good on me. I gave this a five star rating because this was one of the best shopping experiences I've had with great customer service as well...
Pros: Very helpful, friendly atmosphere
Cons: none
