Best wine bar in Manhattan!. Fantastic! Very welcoming wine bar. This place was packed on a Monday night! Great food and an unbelievable selection of fine wines. Also has some great beers on tap you won't find anywhere in the city! Great place for a lady to sit at a bar and have a glass of wine!

good food and wine, but not inexpensive. Good tapa, though not cheap and not the best tapa in town. But you won't say yech!

Good WBTG. We spent $100 for 4 plates, 2 WBTG and 2 Pelligrino mediums. Crowded as hell by 6P. Young good looking crowd. Service is a little slow, mostly due to size.

Have fun

Un-WINE Here!!!!. The place is great, service "IF NOT AT THE BAR" is excellent, the food is superb, especially the meatballs. The bartenders seem to be in there own world and for the size of the bar two are really not needed. I sat at the bar several times, in which I drank and ate, my empty plate was overlooked for about 20 minutes, until one of the waiters took it away, again the bartenders don't do anything.

The two guys that hustle all night are great and make the stay pleasurable. Wine list is good as well as the selection for beer!

MY SUGGESTION HAVE THE OWNER BARTEND!

If it weren't for "our guys".... I love this place. I am regular here, but what keeps me coming back is the two guys who work there, covering about 75% of the patrons. There are usually two bartenders behind the bar--always two young women who lack professionalism and are generally rude. If it were up to me, I'd replace the "witchy bartendresses" quicker than it takes most people to walk in, see how crowded "the Bin" is, turn around and leave. I come here for the great wine, good food and the outstanding service of "the guys", as my boyfriend and I so elegantly refer to them. Our guys are always there with a smile, recommending the best, new wine on the menu. They make this place what it is... I just hope they are compensated accordingly...

So So... The wine selection is good, but a bit expensive. Small, small, small.. Bartenders were two young girls, acted like college girls. They were horsing around so much with each other behind the bar that the service wasn't so good. Seems to me if you're going to run a classy and expensive place, you should hire some appropriately professional bartenders. Thumbs down for the hiring manager.

Excellent. If you're clueless about food and wine, you won't like it here. Otherwise, if you can deal with the small space, the wine selection and tapas menu are outstanding. Have the codfish soup and tell me that's not the best $10 you've ever spent. Anyway, they do an excellent job here.....

Horrible experience. I had a horrible experience at this place. I was very excited when it opened in the neighborhood a few months ago and eager to try this place, but I will never go back. The bartenders were rude and offensive - the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. With all the other great places on the UWS, I would not recommend this place.

Wonderful and cozy. I went with a girlfriend on a Friday night. Amazingly we were able to get a seat! We had a wonderful time and loved the food and wine. I can't wait to go back on a week night when the crowd my be a little smaller and slightly less pompous. The owner stopped to say hello to us, and that personal touch was worth it! I will return!

Great Wine Selection. Nice to see a great wine bar on the UWS. Get a bottle, your money will go farther. Lots of good unique wines, also recommend the cheese, the brie melts in your mouth. Great place to take a date before or after dinner. Very quaint.

sardine can and some cheap wine. Small can be cozy, but this is just uncomfortable. It was hot (if there was air conditioning inside you could not tell), and crowded - it was literally teeming with pompous old fools that love to pay too much for not much of anything. I went to the place expecting a lot more because of the favorable reviews. A word of caution - don't pay attention to the hype - this place is just barely mediocre.
