Good Neighborhood Veggie Spot

I love Curly's Lunch. The portions are HUGE, the food is delicious and the staff is friendly and funky. I love that they get the customers involved by having people color on their placemats and then hang them up (if you're picked!) on the wall. I would suggest the burgers (vegan) and all the sandwiches (esp. the Santa Barbarella) Great place for brunch and for people who like affordable, healthy eats!!

Great food whether you're a vegetarian or not

First of all, I've only ordered delivery at Curly's so I can't critique the service or atmosphere. The food is awesome. And I love that the menu doesn't have the pretentious vibe that so many vegetarian or vegan places tend to have. I have had a bit of everything on the menu. The veggie burgers are great...love the east village club...but my absolute favorite is the buffalo sandwich. There is definitly something for everyone. If you don't like the idea of fake meat, then get the nachos or quesadilla. Basically, Curly's offers tastey, better-than-a-diner, casual vegetarian food. And whenever I call in orders, the people answering the phone are always very friendly so I assume that goes for the service on the floor as well.

Good food.... avoid some of the false meat

Great food... some of my carnivorous friends weren't too pleased with the false meat or the soy icecream... But they aren't the healthiest people either... Other than the some of the 'false' meats...The food however is fantastic! Love it!
