Editorial Review for MaxDelivery – by Katie Heffernan
In Short
Reinstating New York's fast-paced, Internet-based home delivery service, MaxDelivery fills the void left by industry-deserters Urbanfetch and Kozmo. Products are available in a variety of name brands, from frozen dinners to pharmaceuticals and baby diapers to cleaning supplies, as well as DVD rentals and sales. In under an hour, couriers on bikes transport these everyday goods across Lower Manhattan--with plans to expand. The website also offers scheduling ahead and 24-hour order placement.

i love maxdelivery. when i was sick, medicine, water & juice were a click away. and the best was when i had additional surprise guests at my party and ordered wine, sugar sweet sunshine cupcakes and murray's cheese plate in 30 minutes!
Pros: convenience, selection and prices
Cons: does not service outside of manhattan

You won't believe how fast the delivery person was. Had a guy at my apt within 20 minutes of ordering online. It's so convenient and much more pleasant than your typical deli, video store or duane reade experience. Hope MaxDelivery stays around for a long time.
Pros: speed, convenience
