Starters include cheese samplers, salads and small plates, but it's the thin-crust pizza--in…

Editor's Tips

Know Before You Go:
Two entrances (on Pearl and Stone streets) don't make it easy to find. The Goldman Sachs building breaks Stone into two blocks, so be sure to look at a map before you go.
The Extras:
Pizza by the slice is only sold at lunchtime.
ambiance

  1. unique and excellent pizza in snazzy atmosphere
  2. The place is popular and they want to keep people moving yet the atmosphere is so viscerally pleasant you really want to linger.
  3. Great location on Stone St, this is consistently amazing pizza.
  4. The ambience gave us a nice cozy warm feeling.
  5. If you want some of the best gourmet pizza, imported italian wine, and a chill, loungey atmosphere then come here.
  6. Sitting outside with a cold beer, great pizza, and on a pedestrian street gives this place an atmosphere that can't be contended with most NYC spots.
  7. Adrienne's pizza on romantic Stone Street
  8. The location is fantastic; it's like having dinner at an amazing little Italian Bistro that only the locals know about.
  9. Don't get me wrong: the pizza at Adrienne's is pretty good and the ambiance within the place is nice too, but the service in there is nothing short of despicable.
dessert
100.0% positive
  1. was told that even if the pies are not made yet they were "stacked" and could not be changed, but they said it was not a problem for me to order an additional pie.
  2. The square pie is great, I reccomend it to everyone I know and they all have loved it.
  3. At least, the "old fashioned" square pie is great.
  4. Not the usual NYC style brick oven, the pizza was big enough to satisfy, had an airy, crispy crust, and is served as a rectangular pie.
  5. "Nutela Eclair" was one of the unique dessert that I had for a long time.
  6. called to order one pie and was forced to order a minimum of 2 for delivery.
drinks
62.5% positive
  1. If you want some of the best gourmet pizza, imported italian wine, and a chill, loungey atmosphere then come here.
  2. Our waiter was attentive, offered to set up an umbrella on our table when he noticed the sun was getting overwhelming, and consistently checked on our drink levels to make sure we never needed to ask for a refill.
  3. The anitpasta plates looked amazing too, and there was a decent selection of wines by the glass for about $8 average, not too bad in a place that seems like it could jack its prices up b/c of all the yuppies around!
  4. Sitting outside with a cold beer, great pizza, and on a pedestrian street gives this place an atmosphere that can't be contended with most NYC spots.
food quality

  1. Long Island native pizza connoisseur dubbed it the best pepperoni pizza he'd ever had.
  2. We love the Portobello Salad and the Romana pizza is out of this world, our favorite cocktail is the Nutella Tini.
  3. As far as the serive, they get very busy sometimes (due to the great pizza!)
  4. great casual pizza place with cool interior
  5. If I had known that Adrienne's was supposed to be "fast" food--I would have gone to the corner "pizza by the slice" place and would have paid a more reasonable price and would have been treated more politely.
  6. wouldn't recommend the regular cheese ravioli but the baked dishes are good.
  7. Not the usual NYC style brick oven, the pizza was big enough to satisfy, had an airy, crispy crust, and is served as a rectangular pie.
  8. If you are looking for good pizza, this is the place.
  9. Since I live in the area, I wish it was a little less after-worky, but the pizza is very tasty!
  10. Sitting outside with a cold beer, great pizza, and on a pedestrian street gives this place an atmosphere that can't be contended with most NYC spots.

  15. Stone Street is a great hangout and Adrienne's is great pizza and friendly service!

  18. This place has great pizza, but the environment leaves a little to be desired.
  19. ordered from this place and loved the pizza, so when I heard it was on the happening Stone Street a couple of friends and I decided to check it out.
  20. The food was very good, but the manager hustled us out the door because he had another party who was "eyeing our table" (the manager's words).
  21. Certainly quick enough as to allow you to enjoy the TERRIFIC pizza before heading back to work.
  22. Awesome pizza in a crowded space
  23. The plate was ice cold and asked if the food were newly prepared we were told yes.
  24. Good food, BAD management
  25. It took over an hour to deliver it, the pizza was cold, the crust was inedible (hard as a rock and not in that good crispy crust way), the slices were all sorts of variety of sizes and the taste?
  26. If the pizza wasn't so good I would give it a 0 rating.
  27. Excellent pizza, lousy service, extremely rude manager
  28. would not write a review but Adrienne's is by far my favorite pizza anywhere.

  43. The pizza is good, the rest of the food is just average.
  44. We are thrilled to have friends coming in town soon and we are going to shpow them exactly why NYC is known for its pizza--we are taking them to eat the best pizza in nyc at Adrienne's!
  45. The pizza, served unconventionally square, was delicious.
  46. The quattro formaggio pizza is the best.
  47. I've never had any of their food other than the pizza, so I cannot comment on that, but I will say that for the year and a half that I have been going there, I have only had 1 bad experience (as in, my order hadn't been placed and I had to wait for more t

  51. They weren't skimpy with the toppings, the sauce and cheese were very good and the pizza just tasted very fresh.
  52. but the manager is very nice and accomodating and the pizza is worth the wait.
  53. understand that a city with foie gras in burgers is used to sanctified pretentious food, but I still enjoy a normal slice once in a while.
  54. 1) if you think authentic Italian "family style" pizza made with exceptionally fresh ingredients is delicious, you are going to be glad you came here.
  55. The old-fashioned pizza is square and a little thicker (good for 3 people) and the 10-inches are SUPER thin, so good for 1 hungry person or 2 people.

  72. This place has great pizza, but unfortunately the manager and the host have no experience in customer service and it seems as though they don't care about any of their customers.
  73. We three split a pepporoni pizza and a four cheese, both of which were really delicious!
  74. And to talk about the pizza being poor< come on, before adriennes had opened, I had no choice to eat the pizza in the area and you know as well as i do that ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ADRIENNES.

Very Good Pizza

by HADS

A great place to hangout in the warmer weather with it's outdoor cobblestone dining area. It is in a happening part of Manhattan next door to Ulysse's Pub!

The Old Fashioned Square Pizza is excellent and always perfectly cooked! The crust is thin and super crispy and one person can devour a whole pizza, it is that good.

So if you find yourself in the Wall Street area give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

Best pizza in NYC (beats Grimaldi's in Brooklyn)

by Anonimous

This is the best thin crust pizza you can get in NYC and I really mean it when I say that it beats Brooklyn's Grimaldi's.

The pizza is amazing and the atmosphere is very cool and chic. And you do not even need to put up with the huge line that you face at Grimaldi's.

I used to work close to this place and tried them many times, they never failed to deliver amazing pizza every time I eat there.

Highly recommended!!

Different but excellent

by mkslr

Had a great time there on a recent Friday night. I wasn't expecting a rectangular pizza but apparently that's how they make 'em here. I was very pleasantly surprised. They weren't skimpy with the toppings, the sauce and cheese were very good and the pizza just tasted very fresh. Have to admit that we had leftovers and the pizza tasted even better the next day. Not cheap, but worth it for what you get.
