OUTSTANDING!!. I recently had a birthday party for my best friend on Sat Aug 14, 2010; and what a party it was! We got the bronze package which Steve the manager/owner fixed to fit our needs.

He was professional and an awesome person to talk to. There were NO extra charges, NO bullshit, just a night filled with none stop fun.

We had a section by the bar which seated 12 people comfortably and enough room for 18 people to stand, dance, drink, and party at.

Our waitress was so busy tending to many tables besides ours that it was difficult at times to see her as much as we wanted to, but we had a bouncer standing by us the whole night. Whenever I asked him for anything he was willing and quite determined to help me. He was a bouncer and a waiter in one! Awesome guy1 I ended up tipping him at the night for his magnificent work.

We had a blast. The music was great. The DJ played everything. From Reggae to Hip hop, to Pop. Some old school and techno. The night was wonderful. My friends and I had a wonderful time. I would recommend KUSH to anyone who is looking to have a good time. OOh and I forgot to add how great the hookah was!

All in all, you'd honestly be missing out in life if you never went to KUSH!! So go on over!!

Fun Fun Fun. I had my birthday there a couple weeks ago and had an amazing time...from what I remember. Booked the event through Blaque list (extremely helpful) and the evening went off without a hitch. All my guests (no limit) were comped since we had bottle service. We were seated in the area right next to the entry, adjacent to the bar. It was a great, semi-private and convenient location.

We got two bronze packages and got two additional hookahs instead of the platters because I figured we were there to dance and drink. I remember we had to get one or two hookah's fixed because they were too harsh, which the staff was really accommodating about.

Can't comment too much on the music because I really don't remember. There was also another bar in the back which I heard was more crowded than the bar we were next to. It never got too packed throughout the night, which is always a plus.

Just as a warning: a 20% gratuity is included no matter how many drinks you get at the bar. So just beware! Otherwise, I had an AMAZING birthday!! Thanks Kush and Blaque list! I would definitely recommend! Their buy 1 get 1 free bottle special on Thurs and Fridays, I believe, is also a GREAT deal. Can't get better than this in NYC. Also, my friend was actually able to find parking right around the corner, so it's not impossible in the LES to park.

Amazing place to have your next get together.. So I had my birthday party there yesterday and I have to say that I was impressed I was greeeted with a warm "Happy Birthday Sir" from whom I believe to be the floor manager, a nice guy by the name of Steve. It has become difficult to find a great place in this city where a guy can just sit down enjoy some drinks and have a conversation with his friends in a great environment with amazing music great ambience and comfortable seating where not everyone is squished together and the staff as well as the patrons are all uppity and obnoxious, but not anymore. Kush met all my expectations of a great place. I was initially a little skeptical because of the negative comments but this place is definitely not at all what those comments stated. The staff was always coming around to make sure that we were comfortable and having fun the attention was amazing, the drinks were great so was the price and the hookahs tasted great and lasted a long time. I left this place feeling like 20% gratuity was not enough. If you wanna have a great time with your friends call Tim to make a reservation and take your party down to Kush you definitely will have a great time. I look forward to the next time I go there. Don't be thwarted off by the negative comments and come see for yourself.

Great lounge, great birthday spot. I had such a great time at Kush. I threw a birthday gathering for my boyfriend and he had a great time. The lounge is gorgeous with beautiful decor and intimate lighting. Very classy. They also have a two for 1 bottle deal that is an absolute steal especially for this extremely trendy neighborhood. The table that I reserved had the guest of honor's name on it and it was already set up for my friends and I. The hookahs that we ordered lasted for at least an hour and the flavors were great. I also had a pomegranate martini which was delicious. The staff was extremely personable and ensured that we had a great time. I personally booked with GM Tim and felt well taken care of.

VIP birthday!. I love visiting Kush when I'm in the mood for great atmosphere and a great food and drink list, so I decided to have my birthday party there with a bunch of my friends last Saturday. I reserved a table with bottle service and the whole process of booking the party over the phone was really easy as the management was very accommodating and made me feel like they really wanted me to have a great time. When we arrived, coat check was a little slow, but the host was very gracious, showing us to our table and making sure the waitress set us up with everything we needed right away. The DJ was playing fun, danceable music and the host and GM kept checking up on us to make sure we were having a good time. It was one of the best birthdays I've had and I thank the staff of Kush for making my night!

GREAT ATMOSPHERE, GREAT DRINKS, OVERALL GREAT LOUNGE!. I loved the Kush Lounge. I had a birthday party there and I couldn't have asked for more. The atmosphere was great, the crowed was classy and sophisticated and the decor was to die for. I would definitely do it all over again if I could. My 25th birthday will definitely be taking place at Kush next year again!

the decor and dj make this place a+. Kush is probably the best lounge I've been to in a while that plays some great music and our friends all had a great time. We hit up Kush on a Saturday night, women are free all night, men are free on the guest list until midnight. The dance floor was packed and it spilled over in to the bar area. But, the focus of this little diddy is the music that they played. We're not talking about just hip hop that isn't on the radio but the DJ played some jams. I think the DJ sometimes makes a place and the DJ on 1/16 was amazing!

Always a great time... I've been coming to Kush for several months now, introduced by a friend, and can't seem to stay away.. it truly is a rare find in NYC..

the ambiance is really great, LOVE the decor and small artistic touches that give the whole place a mediterranean vibe..

The bartenders are attentive and consistent, amazing Kush martini, my favorite ;) One of the bartenders even created a drink just for my sister right in front of us...delicious!

The DJ is excellent!..starts the night out with music you can have conversations over, moves to more upbeat/hip hop/dance music, and progresses to house/trance towards the end of the night..something for everyone...there's places to sit at the bar and around the main floor, but the center becomes the dance floor after about 1 am..

There is a good selection of finger food..i particularly love the feta cigars, excellent presentation with a lovely red kush ribbon and tastes delicious...

I love coming here...can't wait for the New Year's Eve party!

What a Party!. My group of girls went to Kush last Saturday night and all i can say is...."wow". We had the best time at this hidden gem. The manager was very professional (and cute) took special care of us and made sure we had a good time. The bartender made us these creative cocktails all night long...I especially loved the Tarantula...an avocado martini that was crazy but delicious.

We will make Kush a regular part of our circuit.
