Editorial Review for Park Blue – by Kara Zuaro
The Scene
Dark wood and midnight blue color the interior of this long and lean wine bar. The tall tables and low banquets, the elegant softly glowing sconces, and the well-stocked, back-lit bar are all sleek and chic while the staff is warm and inviting. The seasoned maitre'd, who also happens to be the owner, greets every guest.
The Draw
Sophisticated bar food, a skilled mixologist, and a killer wine list entice a classy crowd after work and after hours. When the five o'clock whistle blows, Midtown professionals stop by for crispy crab fritters, classic cocktails and specialty drinks--try the pleasantly pulpy strawberry and lychee rum punch or champagne with blueberry puree. After the midnight hour, local restaurant staffers, including chefs and sommeliers from the nearby Time Warner Center, stop by post-shift to ponder the wide selection of half-size wine bottles and savor late-night breakfasts of lobster eggs benedict.

Park Blue is a very good place for after work drinks, conveniently located in midtown Manhattan. There is a very nice loungy atmosphere which is perfect to relax after a long day. They have an awesome half bottle wine selection as well as some nice beers to choose from. We had some finger foods too and they were quite good. I don't live in the neighborhood but if I did I'd be frequenting this place.
Pros: Wine, Beer, Food, Atmosphere

Went here 2 weeks ago to meet someone for a drink. The staff was very nice, atmosphere small yet intimate and loungy. The prices were very $$$$. 3 drinks were $45.00 and I am talking 2 vodka sodas and 1 glass of house wine. Not sure I would go back
Pros: Perfect place to take a midweek date for a drink and food
Cons: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ EXPENSIVE!!
