great tan!. Im not a pro when it comes to airbrush tanning, but i have to say this was just very easy and the color was great! I read some reviews and while some i thought were ridiculous, it did raise some concern, I emailed Natalie to get some info and she got back to me right away. She made me feel completely comfortable during my experience and my color came out so natural, my friends couldnt believe it was'nt real. I will definately go back!

Very Unprofessional. I decided to try Sundara at the recommendation from a colleague at work. She suggested I send an email to the manager requesting an appointment, as that is how I'd most likely get a response, which I found weird because normally, I would just make a phone call, and also because I didn't think the tanning industry was really in a position to be selective, given the state of the ecomomy these days.

I emailed the manager asking for an appointment on Thursday, and 24 hours + later she came back saying she was booked. I replied asking about Wednesday, and she eventually came back and offered two time slots, 4:30 and 5pm. I responded that I would take the 5pm appointment, and also mentioned I'd never had a airbrush tan before, and asked what people generally wear for the airbrush. I didn't hear back from her.

Five or six days later it was time for my appointment and when I got there she told me I was not in the book. She started scrambling through emails on her mobile device and said, oh, I never confirmed with you. I reminded her of the back and forth I mentioned above, and she said, yes, you said 5pm and then you wrote this whole long email (I guess they don't like to inform new customers or answer any questions about their business) but I never sent you an email that said "All Set." and then she tried to show me an email on her blackberry to another customer. I told her that I know what an email that said "All Set" would look like, so she didn't have to show me, but what I didn't know, as a new customer, is that if she offers me a time slot and I accept, how that didn't make an appointment. She told me that the time slot I accepted was taken by the time I accepted (I'm sure this was either latency or lack of coordination on her side). I asked her if, in that case, she thought it would have been appropriate for her to respond and let me know that the appointment was no longer available. She didn't have much to say to that.

All in all, I cannot review the tan, but I would steer clear of this place if you value your own time, money, and have an appreciation for customer service and professionalism.

No more sun for me. I went to sundara to get spray tanned for my wedding. My goal was to not be dark, but not pasty in my gown. I am usually very pale and had an October wedding. I had the most natural glow. Aside from my very close friends, who know how pale I really am, nobody knew that I got a fake tan. Natalie was incredible. She has worked with many brides before and really helped me. I actually found out about Sundara from citysearch, and have been spreading the word to everyone I know.

GREAT TAN!!. This tanning salon, although it is not cheap i think it is worth it. Leaves a great glow, if you moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!!! it will last a good 10 days. The place itself is nicely decorated, clean and the technician is very professional and knows what she is doing!!!

Basking in the Glow of Sundara. I'm from the U.K. and recently visited New York, where I had a splendid time, thanks in part to this little gem of a tanning salon, which made me look breathtaking and a lot thinner. :) I researched the tanning places before my trip, booked an appointment at Sundara, and was very pleased with the results. I received lots of compliments. My color was absolutely right, and no issues with streaking or fading. The service was excellent and I also purchased the body butter, which smells delicious. highly recommended . . .
