In Short
Don't be fooled by the bare-bones decor of this mom-and-pop spot. Though it feels like a sparsely decorated living room, the cafe is famous for its authentic Tibetan cuisine. The renowned fresh momos, Himalayan dumplings that taste like a mix between Indian samosas and Chinese dim sum, come stuffed with vegetables, chicken or beef. Vegetarians have plenty of options, and the salads, noodle bowls, curries and stir-fry dishes are as cheap as they are popular.

So cheap and sooooo good. I would not have made it through my last semester in college without Cafe Himalaya. Just a little hole in the wall with the most amazing Tibetan food I've ever had. There are no entres over $10, and most are in the $7 range. They also have great fresh juices ans smoothies. Really try to swing by and try this place.
