My Favorite Bar in New York City. The decor at Love is fantastic whimsical, comfortable and ethereal. It's easy to relax in this subterranean psychedelic cubby. Its equipped with a quiet waterfall, rocky walls and uber friendly staff that mingle with patrons to ensure they are having a good time. The most notable feature of this little cave club is the fuzzy inviting purple recreation of Dr. Seuss Whoville. So you can grab a drink and get cozy up in your Whohabitat with friends, dance in their spacious back room or work on an art project in the back room. The club host several different parties so you never know what kind of crowd youll run into on any given night unless youre on the Love guest list. Its definitely a place youll want to come back to.

The BEST place to dance in NY, period!. No bottle service, velvet ropes, or nonsense like that. Just a breathtaking soundsystem, some of the best DJ's in the world, a real dance floor, and an always chill and mixed crowd there for one reason and one reason only- to get down.

You won't believe a place like this really exists!

Just Go Already. If you like nice bartenders, above average sound systems, chill people, and dancing you should go. Period. It's not that complicated, this is a great club. The pros of trying it out are that you will enjoy at very little cost great beats in a very welcoming and intimate atmosphere free from the posturing of "juice heads" and other undesirables. The cons are...I'm at a loss. If this is not enough to convince you, you may be swayed by Love's bonus feature, an amazing fur covered loft that provides patrons with cozy snuggle caves and a sort of adult jungle gym.

The Way It Oughta Be. The place has the best sound system in NY, bar none. There is no velvet rope, and no attitude--just a very chill crowd who is there to hang out, dance, and have fun. Cover and drinks are the best deal in the city too. Every time we've been, we've had a blast. Like any club, the vibe depends on the night/party. I've never felt like it was a "young" crowd.

Good for a younger crowd. Went to the URB Magazine Almighty DJ Halloween Party w/ Tommie Sunshine. If you're 19 - 22, and love dancing and breakbeats, or 4 on the floor, this is a great place to get you're groove on. The crowd consisted mostly of young breakers, which is always refreshing to watch and I readily joined in. If you're over 22, you'll feel overly mature to hang here though. The decor is dark, dungeony, with tripped out mirror's in the bathroom which make you appear upside down and inside a sphere, waterfall flowing from the cieling in midair with a light show casting on the water, and little areas to sit behind the waterfall designed to be a pillowy cave. Excellent lights, sound system, and open space in this basement level club. If I were 5 years younger, this place would have been a beautiful place to kick it.
