Lucky to have found The Designer's Co-op – I don't know where to start when describing how incredibly beautiful and special Bridget Vizoso from the Designer’s Co-op made my wedding this past weekend. My wedding was at The Foundry, which is a stunning place, yet industrial and somewhat stark venue for a wedding.
When we first met with Bridget, she showed us a great slide show of her work that really showcased her skills, which ranged from unconventional and beautifully composed “tablescapes” using brilliantly colored flowers, fruit, candelabras to stunning bouquets to the more traditional Victorian palettes of whites and pastels. Bridget does everything very, very well with a true artistic vision.
There aren't words to describe how unbelievable everything was at my wedding. When I walked into the Foundry, I was simply astounded by how Bridget and her crew had managed to transform this somewhat chilly interior into a cozy, sparkling, warm setting without letting go of the striking features of the building. Nothing was over the top or ostentatious – she created a beautiful room that made people feel like they had walked into something out of a Midsummer’s Night Dream.
I really don't want to forget to mention how stunning the chupah was. Bridget has this amazing chupah she designed and for our wedding, draped it in bittersweet vine - so many of our guests commented on how artistic and unique it was, especially since so many chupahs are the typical birch poles draped in flowers. This one is one of a kind!
Bridget also did a truly fantastic job with the tent we had rented for dinner. One of the many, MANY compliments I got on her work was how the tent managed to feel intimate, but in reality it was a 30 x 75 square foot space.
The bouquets were so stunning - I nearly cried when I saw my bouquet. There is a picture of my bridesmaids that a friend took and the flowers, next to their dresses, framed by the bittersweet chupah looked absolutely fantastic. She used an array of deep red and burgandy flowers that matched and highlighted the dresses and the rest of the decor at The Foundry. My bridesmaids absolutely loved them as well.
I am in awe of Bridget’s talent. I got an email yesterday from a friend saying "without a doubt, the most beautiful wedding I have ever been a guest at." My wedding was absolutely PERFECT - really, perfect - in every way and Bridget helped to make it that way.
