The Scene
If the discerning door-people don't hint that this home is hip, the ascent up a front staircase will, with a stunning crystal chandelier, mirrors, and heavy entry curtain at the pinnacle. Reminiscent of a rock star's sleek, gothic living room, the red-lit club is jacketed in tight black leather, from the ceiling to the maze of backless banquettes. Tall, leggy women abound, while men are in shorter supply.
The Draw
Hip-hop, rock and '80s anthems enter the loud, swiftly changing mix that keeps dance partners rotating all night. Clusters of couches occupy the spacious should-be-a-dance-floor center, so when it's packed the walkways get blocked by grooving twosomes and threesomes. But it's all in drunken fun to overstep an ottoman and attach to that group popping open the bubbly. On slower nights, more time is taken lounging with competent bartenders' fruity cocktails, like the sweet peach melba martini of Chambord, peach vodka and pink lemonade.

Soooo....it's Thursday night and my old college roommate wanna go out on College night. I've heard of Home a few times but never bothered bc I'm more of a bar person. I'll have to admit, the door people IE ticket man, Bouncers, promoters were very cordial. We got there around 10:30 and to our surprise there was an open vodka bar till 11pm!!! I threw back a few beers, my buddy drank scotch on the rocks. Spent about $60 in total (and I tipped) on a few rounds. The DJ played today's hits all night! I shoulda left at 1am but ended up leaving when the lights went on!!! It's official thursday night is the new Friday night...

I went to Guest House a few weeks ago. We also went with a pomoter (Marion 917-557-5787) and dindn't have any problems at all. At least she did not try to get any money from us :) We went through the VIP entrance without paying and had a really great night at guest house!!!!! We'll definitely go there again! Christiane

My friends and I were approached by the "promoter" to which he gave us a card and assured us that the 5 of us we're going to get a table and bottle service if we only paid $20.00 each, to which we accepted. As soon as we got in the promoter greeted a couple of people including people at the door, such as the security guard, a bartender and hosts. Soon after we got in he got lost in the crowd. We were left with no bottle, no table and of course a horrible horrible atmosphere. When we found him and tried to talk to him he said we could drink from his own bottle...that he was sharing we his friends.....lol!!!! all I have to say to that!!! RIPPED OFFF!!! NEVER AGAIN.
