Color correction and Highlights!

Excellent! I had bad highlights for the past year and a half. Since moving to NY I have been searching for hair help. I have seen a few stylist who basically fried my hair. Daniel did an amazing job and I could not be happier. My hair looks so much more natural, healthy and even toned. The live in space they work out of is very cozy and welcoming. Not to mention their very loving pets. I am going back soon to have my color touched up before my wedding! I know my hair will be perfect!

Genius Hairdressers

Making a switch to new hairdressers is definitely scary and not something I do often. I was with my last hairdresser for 5 years when it was time for me to make a switch. 5 years ago I went to the top NYC salons only to be competely dissapointment in my hair and spending astronomical amounts of money, only to be completely dissapointed. This time around - I did my research and I have to tell you from my first meeting with Daniel I was hooked. He knows hair, texture, and what would be the absolute best for your look. Since my first haircut with him, my hair has NEVER looked better - healthy, totally manageable, and full of volume. Exactly what I have been looking for for years. It was time to take the plunge for color - and I worked with Zhanna to create the best color and richness for me. My hair was use to getting something called Boliage (hair paint with bleach). I had overprocessed, dried and damaged hair. Zhanna and Daniel worked with me to create a beautiful, rich hair color that is shiny, healthy, and luxurious. I now have truly FABULOUS hair. If you are looking for a change I promise you, you have found the absolute best hairdressers. I will be forever thankful to all the citysearch reviewers who shared their stories about this amazing salon. If it wasn't for you all, I would never have found these hair gods. All I can say is - this salon is truly a gem and is worth every single penny! Thank you Daniel and Zhanna for making me feel beautiful again!

I AM SHOCKED BY ALL THE POSTIVE REVIEWS

May be some of them are fake, but here is the experience I had:

I came in and to be fair the atmosphere was pleasant and the place looks nice. However, that is not enough to justify a $100+ haircut (men's) that lacks any real craft or expertise. I requested a layered look and the cut was lacking any real layers and was left essentially as i came in. It was basically a trim that my gf could have given me. I was so dissapointed. When you ask for that kind of money, it is absurd that the stylist does not have basic layering skills. The cut is bad, that I am now looking for a different place to fix it up

Surprising Location and Peaceful Professionals

I made the mistake of going to one of the Dramatic Salon locations who butchered my hair. I walked out horrified and dismayed. For days I wondered how I could find someone to fix the damage. I did a google search and 2b kept coming up. I emailed the salon and Daniel called me back. He was kind and concerned. I made an appt and was well taken care of. Daniel worked hard to correct my hair and I walked out of the salon feeling much better. I had a great hair style, felt listened to and was treated with sincere kindness.

Beautiful, sweet, relaxed.

I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful, intimate salon. The first thing I liked was how close it is to the train station. So easy to find! But still, just around the block from busy Fulton, Nassau feels like a private enclave. Jason buzzed me up and following him and the dog down the hall, I almost felt as though I had walked in to an old friend's stunning new apartment. Everyone was so nice -- Daniel and Zhauna were kind and soft-spoken, like "are you sure you don't want a glass of wine?" with a knowing eye, which I loved. And then my hair -- Jason was an excellent listener, asking questions, looking at the current length and cut, making sure we were both on the same page. Then on to the big room... the shampoo chair is amazing, like sleeping in a waterfall. And the service was FUN, laid-back, just right. I still felt like I was in the hands of a close, trusted friend. End result? Incredible. I was there almost 2 weeks ago and my friends are still talking and asking about it. 2 have appointments next week! Thanks all, truly a top shelf experience.
